Obama FALLS ASLEEP during meeting with supporter

What in the world is wrong with him?

Obama falls asleep while meeting with a supporter whose parents are jobless. This is just another in a long line of disturbing indications that there is something wrong, very wrong, with the tinpot prez. Americans either don’t care or are dangerously misinformed. I prefer to believe the latter. At least then we have a shot at recovering the nation.

Harry Reid, democrat senate leader, blocks vote on “jobs bill”

That’s right, Reid won’t allow the senate to vote on this bogus jobs bill because he does not have enough democrat votes to pass it – while Obama continues to blame republicans.  What a small, small man he is.

Talk about poor timing.

Moments after Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, a Nevada Democrat, blocked a Republican motion in the Senate to vote on President Obama’s jobs bill, the president’s re-election campaign sent out an e-mail blasting House Republicans for not voting on the proposal.

So here he is in Texas yesterday at some community college continuing to lie and mislead..  The most unpresidential president in history.   What an embarrassment.  Notice the blank looks on the props behind him.

Rep. Louis Gohmert introduced his own American Jobs Act of 2011

This is funny.  Since Obama’s bill has not been introduced yet, Louis Gohmert, republican from Texas, has named his bill American Jobs Act of 2011.

He issued the following statement:

“We have heard a lot of rhetoric about job creation from President Obama over the last several days. After waiting to see what the President would actually put into legislative language, and then waiting to see if anybody would actually introduce the President’s bill in the House, today I took the initiative and introduced the ‘American Jobs Act of 2011.’ It is a very simple bill, which will eliminate the corporate tax which serves as a tariff that our American companies pay on goods they produce here in America.

Glenn Beck moving to Texas

Glenn Beck has sold his home in Connecticut…..

and is moving to this $20,000 per month rental in Texas:

He reportedly still owns a Manhatten apartment, even though he has been treated horribly by the people of New York City.

Looks like he’s doing okay.   Only in America.  God bless Glenn and God bless Texas.

Touchy, touchy: Obama can’t deal with a Texan

Oh, how easy it is to get under the alleged president’s skin.  He has glided all his life and never had to answer any hard questions.

I think the word that was used to describe him was prickly.  Very good.  Take off the ly and you have it exactly.

Even if it takes a local reporter from Dallas to reveal it, it seems like a cake walk to get him to show what a small, small man he is.

The look on Watson’s face as he zipped that briefcase up is priceless.  I don’t think he was intimidated.

Anybody paying attention?  Potential opponents?  Do it right and he can be defeated by a landslide.

God Blessed Texas.

Maybe the baby boy never came face to face with a bitter clinger….. 🙂

George Bush and Laura greet returning troops

Former President George W. Bush and his wife, Laura, made a surprise visit to U.S. troops this afternoon (08.11.10).

They showed up at the USO in the Dallas-Fort Worth airport. There they mingled with the returning soldiers, thanked them, chatted and posed for photos as proof of the unexpected encounter for folks back home.

And the picture says it all.

Joe Stack’s daughter says father is hero but crash inappropriate and wrong

Joe Stack’s daughter says on  GMA that her father’s actions were “inappropriate” and considered her father a hero.

The daughter of the man who carried out a suicide plane attack against the IRS in Texas said she considered her father a hero for standing up to “the system” but said the attack that killed a government worker and injured 12 was “inappropriate” and “wrong.”

How could she say this, even in defense of a father?  We don’t even know the full story.  Maybe he made his own problems and maybe he legitimately owed the IRS taxes.  His “cause” may be totally bogus.  In any event, there is no cause or reason to run a plane in a building.  None.

I am surprised Mr. Stack’s daughter would defend her father in this way, but it is so, so predictable that articles such as this would appear that is trying to somehow link this man’s insane actions to the “patriot” sentiments in the country.  True patriots are not violent nor are they extreme and I reject the use of the word in conjunction with an act such as this.

And so Mark Potok weighs in:

He says, “Extremist groups are already aligning behind [Joe Stack], beginning to talk about him as a hero,” said Mark Potok, director of the Southern Poverty Law Center (above) which studies American militia and hate groups. “The growth of those groups has been astounding.”

A man named Joe Stack rams a plane into a building because of some personal grudge he has, and suddenly it is connected to an “extremist group(s).”  This is purposely misleading and dishonest. And Mr. Mark Potok is a flaming liberal who goes around searching for “hate crimes” and “extremist groups” and has little regard for the truth.  He has an agenda, and belongs in the same column as Media Matters.

See this for a little background and insight on Potok.

And I have to add that the mainstream media is totally complicit in trying to make someone like Potok into somebody who should be regarded as a legitimate spokesman, failing to inform anyone about his record of far left propaganda.

I don’t know where he is seeing all this “alignment” because I haven’t seen anything like that on the internet.  I guess he goes into the internet never, neverland.  If you go there, you might find all manner of trash.

Maybe he should go down to Alabama and see if Amy Bishop is with some group and why she shot and killed three people and wounded even more.

Could it be that these are crazy people in isolated incidents that will happen in life no matter what you do?

But while he’s investigating, I suggest he look into how it is that a Major in the United State Army was able to execute fellow-soldiers on a military base and further what he was even doing in the military, and how and why another man tries to blow up an airplane by putting explosives in his underwear.  What ideology and extremist group is involved here?
