How do you like that NEW TONE?

I am observing this with my mouth open.  We are seeing and hearing the entire democratic regime go off the rails.  But democrats are always emboldened because they know the liberal media will cover for them.  But not only cover for them, they participate with them as though they all got together and decided the word(s) they would use.

Quotes from Lawmakers:  http://dailycaller.com/2011/08/03/hostage-metaphor-is-liberal-commentators-new-talking-point/2/

It is bad enough when people who are not in government name call and attack those who disagree with their view of the world, but when democrat members of congress can’t quit saying hostage, hostage, hostage, not only in press conferences but actually on the floor of the Senate and House, it just shows their lack of respect and ignorance.  It also shows they have no tolerance for ideas other than their own.

Bigot:  A bigot is a person obstinately or intolerantly devoted to his or her own opinions and prejudices, especially one exhibiting intolerance, and animosity toward those of differing beliefs.

And all because the American People sent to Washington some duly elected House and Senate members who can’t be bought and are not playing the Washington game, who will address the awful state of affairs our country is in.

It’s a little ironic that this is taking place around the time Gabby Gifford made her first appearance back in Washington after being shot in the head.  Even the president has been talking about republicans “holding a gun to the heads of Americans” only months after he lectured on the subject of civility in Tuscon.  And remember all that silliness about the republicans sitting with the democrats at the state of the union (which was designed solely for the purpose of the visual of a lot more republicans than demos in congress). https://bellalu0.wordpress.com/2011/01/15/sit-together-never/ and https://bellalu0.wordpress.com/2011/01/25/children-are-running-the-country/

If violent rhetoric actually causes violence, then there will be a massive amount of violence that comes from the way these democrats are speaking and reacting.

I really think this is coming across as disgusting to voters and there’s going be a great “clean out” in Washington come 2012 even greater than 2010.

America has got to get rid of these entrenched politicians like Chuck Schumer, Harry Reid, and Steny Hoyer, et al.

They are going to eat these words they are spewing.

Democrat Senate leaves town without taking up FAA bill

The [Democrat controlled] U.S. Senate went on summer recess Tuesday night without taking action to fully fund the Federal Aviation Administration, all but assuring that almost 4,000 furloughed FAA workers will remain jobless for the next five weeks and preventing the agency from collecting $1.2 billion in aviation taxes.

On Tuesday evening, the Senate recessed, without accepting the House version of the bill.

I just heard MSNBC’s report on this on the Way Too Early show.  They showed Steny Hoyer making some complaint about the republicans sending them a bill they did not like.  I did not know what the facts were, but the story left me with the impression (as usual) it was somehow the republican’s fault and the high and holy democrats were completely blameless in the fact the FAA was not funded.

The truth is that the Senate had a House of Representatives bill they could have taken up before they left for recess and avoided the problem, but they DID NOT DO SO because they didn’t like it or didn’t feel like it.  So they left town without doing their job.

So once again, the democrats, with the help of their media, try to deflect all blame that these people are not getting pay checks.  The republican House did their job and if the demos were as interested in compromise as they like to proclaim, (let alone any interest in the 4,000 FAA workers and 70,000 construction workers being laid off, as MSNBC reported) they would have taken a bill they may not like and pass it to avoid the shutdown.

They make me sick.

Wonder what Harry and Steny will be doing on recess – oh, I just heard Harry say something about pomegrante trees.  Pomegrante trees for Harry until after Labor Day.  The ball’s in Harry’s court and he took it and went home.

I wonder what kind of hot frenzy the liberal media would be in if this had been a republican controlled Senate.  No. doubt. about. it.

Here is some added perspective and a video of Hoyer, Schumer, and Boxer going on about the hostage-takers.  Another classic example of projection on their part.  It seems the controversy is really about “card check.”

Food safety bill may be dead

Well, look at this. The Senate has messed up on the food safety bill.

A food safety bill that has burned up precious days of the Senate’s lame-duck session appears headed back to the chamber because Democrats violated a constitutional provision requiring that tax provisions originate in the House.

By pre-empting the House’s tax-writing authority, Senate Democrats appear to have touched off a power struggle with members of their own party in the House. The Senate passed the bill Tuesday, sending it to the House, but House Democrats are expected to use a procedure known as “blue slipping” to block the bill, according to House and Senate GOP aides.

The debacle could prove to be a major embarrassment for Senate Democrats, who sought Tuesday to make the relatively unknown bill a major political issue by sending out numerous news releases trumpeting its passage.

Thank. you. Lord.

See more at Roll Call.

Apparently, Coburn stands in the way of a fix for this:

According to Senate GOP aides, a unanimous consent agreement is all but certain to be a nonstarter because the bill’s chief opponent, Sen. Tom Coburn (R-Okla.), will not agree to such a deal.

Coburn “will object and demand changes as [he has] from the get-go,” a GOP aide familiar with the situation said.

So what’s his story?  What’s his game?  Is he going to cave in the end?  I don’t trust any of them after watching the little rat Bart Stupak pretend he was going to vote against Obamacare and then at the last minute voted for it.

I heard that this will essentially put the United States under the U. N in matters of food safety.  More power to the FDA for sure and it does NOT cover meat, poultry and eggs.  Can you believe this?  Remember the blitz about contaminated eggs during the summer?  I was wondering what the hidden agenda was there.  I am still wondering.  This is how incompetent the congress is.  We’ll be so much safer – that is if we don’t eat any meat, poultry, and eggs.  This is just like the financial protection bill, the Frank/Dodd bill.  Sweeping controls handed over to some governmental agency, but not covering Fannie/Freddie.  So let’s see, healthcare, food, finances…..what’s left?  Water?  I’m sure they’re working on it.

Republicans who voted YES in the Senate:

Alexander (R-TN)
Brown (R-MA)
Burr (R-NC)
Collins (R-ME)
Enzi (R-WY)
Grassley (R-IA)
Gregg (R-NH)
Johanns (R-NE)
Kirk (R-IL)
LeMieux (R-FL)
Lugar (R-IN)
Murkowski (R-AK)
Snowe (R-ME)
Vitter (R-LA)
Voinovich (R-OH)

Why did they vote yes?  Why?  I see my senator, La-Muuuw voted for it.  Marco Rubio takes his seat in January.

I heard someone say yesterday that these clowns better pray every day that the American people remain a peace loving, law abiding people.

Democrats push Clyburn aside for the white guy (Update)

There the democrats go again.  Racist hypocrites.  In recent history, Harry Reid stands at the Senate door to block Roland Burris from entering after he was appointed to hold Barack Obama’s seat until the election.

Now we have James Clyburn pushed aside by the white man (Steny Hoyer) who gets the real position and prestige and Clyburn is given an especially created token position with token office and token blackberry and token car with driver, and he actually accepts that treatment with a thank you, sir; thank you, ma’am.  You know it’s all about race because if this were two white men who wanted the same position, one would get it, one would not, and that would be the end of it.  Pretty disgusting, pretty sad. http://www.politico.com/news/stories/1110/45077.html

And nothing new.  In fact,  it’s just another lie that the democrat party is all in for African Americans.  Quite the opposite is true.  Their bad treatment of blacks is historic.

There seems to be a smear campaign going on!! (Update) New Video

UPDATE2:  I just remembered something I wanted to add to this subject.  Congressman Stupak has published some very ugly messages he received After he changed his vote to yes. but when he was on tv every day saying he would vote No, he stated that his life had been a living hell.  So who do you suppose was contacting him then, harrassing him and his wife?

I, for one, called his office to praise him and to thank him for standing firm with his no vote.  Maybe he could play that call on tv.  I feel stupid now for calling him, but at the time I believed him.  As I say, I was stupid.  After he changed his vote, I wouldn’t waste my money to call him.

Now I have lost absolutely all respect for him.  He not only betrayed his own position, but then stood up on the floor of the House and said it has ALWAYS been the democrats who have been on the side of life.  And then he comes out with these messages, completely ignoring what happened to him before he changed his vote.

But anyway, I wish they would dredge up my phone call to him and play it.  Maybe it would be more representative of those of us who identify with the tea party movement.

House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer is warning that some of his Democratic colleagues are being threatened with violence when they go back to their districts — and he wants Republicans to stand up and condemn the threats.

So the little cowards are worried about going back home, huh?  No kidding! After they have insulted and smeared their constituents, they should be afraid to meet them face to face and try to explain what they did and how they did it.

When the people fear their government, there is tyranny; when the government fears the people, there is liberty.
~Thomas Jefferson

And they now want the Republicans to stand up and condemn the threats?  After they blocked them out, conspired behind closed doors, and used every gimmick known to man to pass this bill.  They should say nothing.  That is just an Alinsky tactic, “hold them to their own values” while they go about using any means necessary to achieve their goals.

Isn’t it just amazing how that works?  The democrats get everybody riled up by their sleezy ways, and they want to pass responsibility to the republicans, cast the spotlight anywhere but on themselves where it belongs.

Well, it passed.  It is now law.  The goal has been met.
I thought they were giddy about it.  But I don’t think they feel too good about how it was done.

Something is not right about this frenzy now going on.  Everything was peaceful, no problems, no nothing, until suddenly out of the blue, Saturday it was reported somebody in a crowd used the N word and the F word and all in the space of a few minutes.

I am not at all sure it ever happened.  First of all the people who have made these accusations are not credible.  They have engaged in the most underhanded, dishonest practices and until they are willing to go under oath or make a sworn statement, it is wrong to even report these things as truth.  Nobody saw it.  There is no video.  There is no audio.  Nothing.  Kind of like a he said he said situation. I like to have proof.

Of course, when they have to bleep the Vice President of the United States, it’s just all tee hee funny.  Gee, just ole Joe again.

All these men have made it to the highest level of government, powerful men, and so I don’t believe they have been discriminated against in any way.  They have a pretty good life and they chose to walk right down through the crowd, almost as if to taunt the people.

Don’t you think the tea partiers deserve, as United States citizens, their presumption of innocence?  Give us some proof or shut up about it.

And if they are afraid to go home to their districts, after consistently smearing their constituents, then so be it.  It does not surprise me. Pretty funny, actually. What goes around comes around.

American citizens have a right to peacefully assemble in the nation’s capitol while so-called laws are being passed inside that they don’t want.  They can wave all the flags they want to, and they can hold up their handmade signs all day long every day if they want to.

They/we have rights – but the only time you hear anything about constitutional rights out of the mouths of this administration and this congress is when it pertains to terrorists.  But when it comes to the American people, I have not heard anything about rights.

But I am sure there are the best of the best in police power taking care of these little you know whats (I restrain myself) and if by chance somebody has left a message on their answering machine that they are a POS, then I am sure these folks can be rounded up, dragged out of their homes, put in handcuffs and arrested, read their Miranda Rights, assigned a lawyer, and then go about proving they broke the law since they will be cloaked in the presumption of innocence, with the right to face their accuser(s).

I heard somebody mention Moses and Aaron the other day referring to someone in the democrat ranks.  Well, since Moses was mentioned, it might be good to look at that 9th commandment.  Think about that for a minute.  And tell me there is not a concerted effort being waged to lie against innocent people, lies being promoted and spread by the media.  These people are being slandered, their character being defamed, only because they are exercising their rights and expressing an opinion in opposition to the opinion of the powers that be.

Take a look at this video showing David Shuster of MSNBC going after an African American man trying to tell him he had been to hundreds of tea parties and never saw any violence or anything racist.  Outrageous.  Dishonest.  And he did not want to hear the truth.  So who is the hater?  They have managed to keep this going, all day every day, now for five days, and they just threw some more coals on the fire today.
