A pall over America

Remember Joe the Plumber and a time when redistribution of wealth was a foreign and shocking concept for the U.S.A.?  What an uproar it caused?  Well, not any more.   The passing of the health care bill has emboldened the undercover socialists and they no longer are trying to hide their agenda.  I never thought I would see this.  Never.  And I have to say it chills me to the bone.

And Max Baucus:

Sen. Max Baucus (D): “Too often, much of late, the last couple three years the mal-distribution of income in America is gone up way too much, the wealthy are getting way, way too wealthy, and the middle income class is left behind. Wages have not kept up with increased income of the highest income in America. This legislation will have the effect of addressing that mal-distribution of income in America.”

I wonder if he would be the first to give up his wealth.

Here’e Ed Schultz, MSNBC, advocating the fairness doctrine in the most radical of terms.  Notice how he easily affirms how, if he could, he would cut off access of the airways to those he disagrees with.

America is not the same country it was a little over a year ago.  And they wonder what we mean when we say we are going to take our country back?  I never thought I would feel so disenfranchised and alienated. Redistribution of wealth, cutting off freedom of speech, ridiculing anyone who objects to the agenda and policies, take over and condemnation of private industries, intimidation from the highest level of government, and on top of this, we have the government, i.e. the president humiliating Israel…..chilling.  http://gatewaypundit.firstthings.com/2010/03/obama-refuses-to-dine-with-jewish-leader/

Al Sharpton: American public voted for Socialism

“”Last night, our legislators officially broke the contract with America that is the Constitution. Last night, they ceased to represent us. Last night, a new party was born; the malignant tumor that is the progressive caucus consumed the Democrat party from within and gave birth to the mainstream Socialist Party.””Dana Loesch

What will happen to Fannie and Freddie? So you think Obama’s a socialist? (Update)(Update2)

Recently on The O’Reilly Factor:

The question is asked, “So you think Obama’s a socialist?”

Newt Gingrich says, “Sure.  Of course he is.”

Bill O’Reilly says, “I think he’s Lyndon Johnson on steriods.”

Listen to the whole exchange:

Here’s link to the interview:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4ra6P6dG4v8

Bill O’Reilly starts out by making this statement:  “Socialist? – [does that mean that] if he could, he’d take your house because that’s what socialists do?”

My opinion, I think he would without a doubt take total control of everything, including your house.  Valerie Jarrett makes a telling comment while discussing how simple-minded the Tea Partiers are, how they are in need of a brochure or phamplet to explain health care to them in terms they can understand :), she said, referring to health care –

“If he (President Obama) could do it unilaterally, he would have done it a long time ago, I can assure you of that.” [At 2:24]

I heard the President make a similar statement himself recently.  And I am sure he would, but that pesky congress keeps getting in the way.  I think Obama wants to rule, not govern.  What was it President Bush said?  “Dictators are fine as long as I’m the dictator.”

But back to houses:

Barney Frank, the chairman of the House Financial Services Committee, called Friday for a new system for providing money for home loans and the elimination of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.

“I believe this committee [The House Financial Services Committee] will be recommending abolishing Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac in their current form and coming up with a whole new system of housing finance,” Mr. Frank said at a hearing on executive compensation issues. “That’s the approach, rather than the piecemeal one.”

While chief executives of Fannie and Freddie could be paid upwards of $6 million for 2009, the Obama administration has said they will cover UNLIMITED LOSSES through 2012.

I wonder why now suddenly Barney Frank wants to dismantle Fannie and Freddie.  Some believe they should be privitized and some think they should become full fledged government agencies.  The Obama administration is supposed to address their position when the budget is released next month.

“If he could, he’d take your house because that’s what socialists do.”  I think this was meant to demonstrate that since Obama was not taking any houses, then he could not be a socialist.

Freddie and Fannie already owns or guarantees about 31 million home loans, which is about half of all the mortgages in the United States.  Now, if Fannie and Freddie become federal agencies, then who would actually own these homes?

I would like to know why Mr. Fannie and Freddie, Barney Frank, is now advocating they be dismantled.

Something smells.

UPDATE:  Fannie Mae seeks ANOTHER  $15 billion from their UNLIMITED draw on the U. S. Treasury. (They’ve already gotten $60 billion since April.) Bloomberg.

UPDATE:  Here’s another article on Fannie and Freddie asking for more money. Friday Debt Dump/Newsbusters.

A comment left by Taqiyyotomist

on Gateway Pundit referencing this Friday Dump piece:

“”Jim, I don’t know if you’ve seen this:
“After the closing bell on Friday, just in time for everyone to stop paying close attention, mortgage behemoth and ward of the state Fannie Mae (“Fan”) released its fourth-quarter and full-year financial results. Its press release (PDF) informs us that its $74.4 billion loss in 2009 (inclusive of dividends paid to the government) followed a $58.8 billion loss in 2008. ”

Friday Debt Dump. These people who just lost, apparantly, four times as much money as Bernie Madoff embezzled, and three times as much money as Enron “lost”.

Madoff and Ken Lay are in JAIL. **

The people who did this are our president, Chris Dodd, Barney Frank, Franklin Raines, and a host of other looters who should also be sent to JAIL, and with a term length in proportion to those given to Madoff and Lay. If not more.

But no, they still pretend to run our country, while embezzling better than the best and most notorious embezzlers. Now Fannie and Freddie want another $15 billion.

And then there are the millions of people who took home loans that they lied about their income to get. Then there are the community organizers who convinced millions to do this. Then there is the entire social-service government sector whose employees, like ACORN employees, advise the poor on new and improved ways of lying on the forms, filling in all the proper fields with just the right lies.

This nation is due some serious justice. Justice is sorely lacking now. The embezzlers are in charge.””

**Note: [Well, Ken Lay was headed to jail but died before he could get there.]

Hugo Chavez seizes Hilton Hotel in “the public interest”

Venezuelan president Hugo Chavez has a habit of acquiring and nationalizing various businesses from gold mines to factories. This week he ordered the “acquisition by force” of a the Hilton Hotel on Venezuela’s Margarita island.

The resort hotel includes a 590-foot freeform swimming pool, casino, gym and a white sand beach. The hotel also includes the La Scala Restaurant and a bar. It has 280 rooms and 154 time-share suites. The hotel was recently the site of the Africa-South America Summit which was attended by Muammar Gadhafi (who set up his often controversial luxury tent on the beach), Robert Mugabe and others.

chavez hotel hilton

A few years ago, the government seized and rebranded a Hilton in Caracas. Now known as Hotel Alba it has been used to entertain Chavez supporters from around the world.

Last year, a law in Venezuela was passed which referred to the tourism industry as “public interest,” setting the stage for nationalization efforts when it comes to hotels and resorts.

We are moving so fast in this direction in the United States as to make your head spin.  We have an administration who is attacking free speech on every side and who has as a world view and desire that this country be transformed into a socialist society.  Our president has shown more love to Hugo Chavez than he has citizens of his own country who happen to disagree with the direction he is taking us.

Here’s to you, Mr. Jefferson (Video)

The founding fathers are turning over in their graves.  Set to the tune of Simon and Garfunkel’s “Mrs. Robinson” this in the final analysis is very sad.

Tito Doesn’t Want the Crumbs

It takes a man like Tito to tell the truth about the plan for us.  And he may know a thing or two about socialism.  “Give them a few crumbs over here, they will be happy, and not ask any questions.”

Maybe we won’t notice or care that our freedom of speech is being taken from us little by little.  Maybe we won’t notice that the Mainstream Media that did all in their power to get Mr. Obama elected will be the same media that will control and manipulate the people with the blessing of an Obama administration.

We may even get so brainwashed that we will defend the investigation of private citizens, or the shutting down of local tv or radio stations, or the “punishment” of any newspaper or network who dares to ask a question or report any fact that is not apporved by the Administration.

I saw a spokesman for Obama yesterday take the New York Post, a newspaper that endorsed McCain, wad it up, and throw it to the floor, with great disgust and with voice raised, he said, “Why would we want to  hang out with people we don’t like?”  That’s the very question I have been asking for a while now, “Why did Mr. Obama hang out with radicals and anti-American people if he did not like them?”

But, back to the point, they are already putting out their mouthpieces to condition us to the fact that there will be a very limited and censored amount of information getting out under an Obama administration.  And if we aren’t careful, we will think it’s just fine.

There is still time.  Save America.  Vote McCain/Palin
