How Progressives Pray…

THIS IS HOW HE BEGINS THE “PRAYER”:  Mother Earth, we gather today in your redeeming and glorious presence, to invoke your eternal guidance in the universe, the original Creator of all things.

May the efforts of this council blend the righteousness of Allah with the all-knowing wisdom of Satan……

And it just goes on, blasphemy upon blasphemy.

How Progressive Moonbats Pray….

Mr. Obama, what is your opinion of jihad?

Here is Barack Obama’s entire (4 minutes) convoluted, halting, and rambling statement made when asked by a student in India about his opinion of jihad.  I think it’s time for a psychological examination.

A new earth?

Wow.  Maybe God has made a new planet.  I’m just sayin’.

Astronomers say they have for the first time spotted a planet beyond our own in what is sometimes called the Goldilocks zone for life: Not too hot, not too cold. Juuuust right.

Just like earth.

Ground Zero mosque imam alleged slumlord

Feisal Abdul Rauf

Image via Wikipedia

He’s the religious leader of the planned, controversial Ground Zero mosque — but across the Hudson, Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf is known as an alleged slumlord.

At buildings in Union City and Palisades Park, where Rauf reportedly got tax dollars to renovate low-income apartments, tenants yesterday said their gripes about their lousy housing conditions have been ignored.

Is the president a Sunni or a Shiite?

The muslim vs Christian fire is flaming.  Interestingly, nobody was talking about it, until the Pew poll came out which showed the American people really are unsure about the president’s religion.  The mainstream picked it up and have been obsessing on it now for days (along with the eggs recall).

I don’t know.  There’s just something a little curious about the fact that our president dropped the mosque bomb and then went on vacation while the issue went viral and the chaos took over.  Along about the same time, we have the muslim thing flaming up.   Wonder what this grand distraction is about.

I caught about three minutes of Chris Matthews last night and I was shocked at his frantic, lunatic ranting about the fact that so many people think our president is a muslim.  You would have to see it.  Almost foaming at the mouth.  Of course, blaming the republicans for it.  Although I do think George Bush is off the hook on this one since the far left, even including Eugene Robinson, is longing for the “religious tolerance” of Bush.  Bush remains silent, by the way.  He ain’t as dumb as you think.

But, Lord have mercy, who knew the far left wing media would think there is something so wrong with the president of the United States being a muslim.

I am interested in it – just because….just because I’m a bitter clinger and I think, yeah, the president of the United States just might be a muslim.  There’s lots of jokes in there for Jeff Foxworthy….if you (fill in the blank) you just might be a muslim.

I have always thought the matter could be laid to rest if when he presents his real birth certificate, he presents his certificate of baptism as well.  He doesn’t seem to be in possession of too many documents. But why do you think the white house, just right out of the blue brought out his passport?  Nobody asked him about his passport. Nobody was talking about his passport.  But there’s some blurry dates on there.  Reminds me of big foot or the loch ness monster.  Hazy pictures, lots of sightings, but never any real proof.

Seriously, does it matter if we have a muslim president?

Does it matter that, if we do, we also have one of the biggest liars that ever lived in the white house.

He has said he is a Christian.  He made a rather big deal out of it during the campaign.  Then it came out that his one and only confirmation is his membership in the Trinity Church of Christ, the weirdest church I have Ever seen or heard tell of.

Somewhere I had heard that the Trinity Church did not require members be baptized and that they could retain their muslim faith and be members as well. Denominations bicker and disagree about it a lot as to the form it should take, immersion, sprinkling, so forth, but I don’t believe I’ve heard of a church that does not require it. Baptists say you don’t have to be baptized to be saved, but if you are saved, you will be baptized and, upon profession of faith in Christ, you will be scheduled pretty quickly.

But I do not believe you could convert from a muslim to a Christian without being baptized because the renunciation of the old would be just as important as the announcement of the new.

White house spokesman, Bill Burton added, “The president is obviously a Christian. He prays everyday.”

Would that be five times a day?

Facts about the property designated for the GZ mosque

The president’s endorsement of the ground zero mosque on Friday night moved this up to the top of the pile for me.  So I start digging.

Obama makes a statement firmly in favor of the mosque, invoking the constitution, which he only does when it benefits him, terrorists, muslims, or illegals.  (This is true.  Check it out.)  He can cancel the Day of Prayer, have the religious symbols covered up at Georgetown University, his justice department can sue a state, and hinder freedom of speech at every hand and not a peep about the constitution.

Here is his statement, short version:

But let me be clear: as a citizen, and as President, I believe that Muslims have the same right to practice their religion as anyone else in this country. That includes the right to build a place of worship and a community center on private property in lower Manhattan, in accordance with local laws and ordinances.

It is interesting to note his tone of voice and inflections here.  “….just as much as anybody else in this country.”  Very defiant I would say.

But he also said that ground zero was “hallowed ground.”  So by asserting  this, and then endorsing the mosque anyway, he is blatantly stating that he does not care if it is hallowed ground, it does not matter to him.  Do you see any empathy in him here?  He wants empathy from his supreme court judges, where it has no place, but he has none.

But I am getting emotional.  Emotion aside, I want to state some simple facts.

Notice the president said they have a right to build on “private property.”

Others also referenced it a private property.

In a nut shell:

  • It is not on private property, at least not all of it.
  • This is two tracts of land owned by two owners.
  • It will take both properties to build their building.
  • One property they bought, one property they lease.
  • One time you read about it, there will be no mosque in the building, the next time there will.
  • Imam Abdul Rauf and Sharif El Gamal are teamed up to build the GZ mosque.  hmmmm
  • Sharif El Gamal of Soho Properties bought 45-47 Park Avenue in 2009 for $4.8 million.
  • Sharif El Gamal purchased a lease for $700,000 for 49-51 Park Avenue.  This property is owned by Con Edison a public utility.  It is being appraised for a Possible sale to Soho Properties, Mr. El Gamal’s company.
  • “The sale proposal will go to the Public Service Commission, where it could possibly face a vote by a five-member board controlled by Gov. Paterson.” Quote from the NYP. (Watch what happens to Governor Paterson.  There has already been a media blitz trying to get him to resign.  See if there is another one.)
  • Part of one of the planes that flew into the World Trade Center fell through the roof of this building.
  • Just a few short years ago, Sharif El-Gamal and his brother Sammy El-Gamal of SOHO Properties the Developers of the Ground Zero Mosque were waiting tables in New York City. Sharif El-Gamal was waiting tables at Serafina’s Restaurant in New York City and Sammy El-Gamal was waiting tables at Tao Restaurant on the Upper East Side of Manhattan NY, from there they both broke into the real estate business by renting apartments on commission, they were not selling any properties.

Does this seem strange to anybody?  Where did they suddenly get this kind of money?  Who is financing Soho Properties?

Why are they so intent on building the mosque right there in that spot and dedicating it on September 11, 2011?

How is it the intolerant demand tolerance?  Why would we acquiesce to an enemy of our way of life, and if they were in charge, there would be no freedom or tolerance.  We would all be muslim or else.  We will not fall for this manipulation.  They can build someplace else.

Here’s an in-depth breakdown of what has gone on. I haven’t heard or read anything about this from the mainstream, have you?

The New York Post has some facts about it, too.

H/T to a blogger who has written a post and pulled it all together so much better than I have.

I just couldn’t resist my bullet points for quick reference.  🙂

Workers refusing to work on mega-mosque

Workers pledging not to work on ground zero mosque

Below is an excerpt from the site he is referring to in this video, Blue Collar Corner.

Here are the names of union and non-union tradesman who refuse to work the site of the proposed Ground Zero Mosque. We feel we have been betrayed by our civic leaders and elected officials as they allow the Cordoba Initiative Group build their Mega-Mosque on top of the ashes of the 3,ooo innocents who were slaughtered on 911. DSC00560

The attackers yelled “Allah Ahkbar” as they destroyed our symbols of economic power and liberty filled with Americans.

Rise up, America.  We don’t have to take this insult.  And just as this guy expected, our president has now publicly supported this project.  This is the last straw.
