Disgusting media bias never stops

Just today, I saw these two examples of media bias.  I am sure there are many others, as we are being blatantly or slyly brainwashed in an effort to get obama re-elected.  And, of course, there was the debate which I believe was a staged event, probably with CNN and the  obama campaign in collusion, but no probably about it, Candy disgraced herself in bias.  She was like a mom and obama like a child, crying “Candy, Candy, Candy” when he got backed into a corner due to his lies and deceptions.  And Candy comes to the rescue on cue.

Little Tommy Tucker, Sang for his supper, Ma! Ma! Poor little innocent guy.

I get this image of a little boy tugging at his mommy’s coattails.

But back to these two examples:

Again and again and again, what you always see from our corrupt media is that as soon as one of their Corrupt Narratives turns against them — all of a sudden that Corrupt Narrative suddenly vanishes from the media dialogue. For months, all we heard from our Narrative Gatekeepers was favorability, favorability, favorability. And why? Because it helped Obama.

…..

But we don’t hear a whole lot about favorability anymore, do we?

Why is that?

Here’s why:

Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney has finally cleared what many aides have long seen as his biggest hurdle: A majority of voters now like him.

http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Journalism/2012/10/19/media-Ignores-Romney-Favorability

Next,

Us Magazine writes a story about the dresses worn by Ann Romney and Michelle Obama to the presidential debate.  Their headline reads:

“Ann Romney Wears $1,690 Oscar de la Renta Dress to Presidential Debate”

…..trying to advance the democrat/media hatefulness toward the Romneys for having money.

Yet, Michelle’s dress costs twice as much, $3,290. And that little detail was down in the story and did not rate the headline.

Now, honestly, if an issue is to be made of the cost, common sense would tell you that the one that cost the Most would rate the headline, right?  And besides that, Ann Romney bought her dress with her own money and anyway you look at it, Michelle is using money that came from the American people.

And, oh my god, I just thought of the ridiculous, stupid, childish way in which the obama media and the democrats have seized on a simple phrase about binders to try to find some negative narrative they can blast for days on end.  What an insult to women.  He made a perfectly good example of how he did a good thing in hiring women for the highest positions in his Mass cabinet, and all they can do is talk about binders?

Is there any fairness in the media?  No.  Only corruption.

FLOTUS wants to impact the nature of food in the grocery store

Just heard what Michelle Obama says her second term goal to be if her husband (God forbid) is re-elected.

“Impact Nature of Food in Grocery Stores”

First of all, what on earth could she mean by impacting the nature of food?  Please, God, deliver us from this nightmare.  It would be funny if it didn’t bring tears to your eyes.

This just reminded me of the “big deal” of the first lady’s MyPlate roll out in June of last year, upon which she spent enough to pay a $40,000 per year salary for 50 years:

FLOTUS unveils MyPlate icon, Obama downs hot dog(s), chili & fries in Toledo.

Shouldn’t she concentrate on getting rid of crime in the streets or feeding the hungry?

Or maybe impact the nature of the food of those nearest and dearest to her heart first before she launches into our food.

Someone once said something about getting the log out of your own eye first…..

But we do not intend to let this 2nd term business happen.  We have a chair to fill.

Democrats are voting on November 2nd this election?

Well, according to the First Lady, I guess so.  Sounds like a good idea to me.  🙂  There’s also a special election set up for them on November 7th.

Michelle Obama, speaking yesterday at a campaign event in Florida:

So that one new voter that you register in your precinct — think about it — that one neighbor that you get to the polls on November the 2 I want you to understand, that could be the one that makes the difference. That one conversation, that one new volunteer you recruit, that could be the one that puts this over the top.

The presidential election this year is November 6.

FLOTUS unveils MyPlate icon, Obama downs hot dog(s), chili & fries in Toledo

Obama Foodorama details the unveiling of Michelle Obama’s new food group icon, MyPlate.org.

It just got a little bit easier for kids and their families to follow the Let’s Move! campaign and try to eat like First Lady Michelle Obama. In Washington today, Mrs. Obama unveiled “MyPlate,” the federal government’s new primary food group icon, designed to be an easy-to-understand visual cue to encourage people to adopt eating habits consistent with the 2010 Dietary Guidelines for Americans.

I can see Mark Levin’s head exploding from here.

It comes with a little booklet, (very high end color printing job and probably very expensive) that devotes a page to dire warnings not to change this MyPlate icon in any way.

Listen up, children, this is important.  Below is the page dedicated to the improper use of MyPlate.  Watch for the Obama MyPlate Food Police.

Oh, here we go:  “The icon cost about $2 million and months of work to design and to create, according to USDA sources.”  That’s enough to pay a salary of $40,000 per year for 50 years.  Outrageous.  Cut. their. funds.  Wasting money like this is outrageous any time, especially with so many out of work.

And the MyPlate is so, so much better than the MyPryamid currently in use.  Right!

There is major worry that:

“the food industry in general will use the icon to market foods, but USDA has issued a ten-page “MyPlate Style Guide and Conditions of Use” booklet to attempt to control its messaging tool. The booklet warns ALL users against altering the image in any way–no changes in typeface, color, or position of the food groups on the plate are allowed, for instance. and use of the icon doesn’t imply that USDA endorses the food, according to the booklet.”

“No matter what USDA does, the food industry will figure out a way to use it [MyPlate] to sell more food.  A bottom-line focus always trumps public health, alas.”

Horror of horrors.  Imagine the food industry trying to sell more food.  Can we get these people out of the White House?

I see where POTUS escaped to Toledo yesterday and grabbed a hot dog with mustard, onion, chili sauce and cheese, with a bowl of chili and fries on the side.

Quote of the Day:

“By the way, as an afficionado of hot dogs, you shouldn’t put ketchup on your hot dog… I’m trying to teach my girls.”

President Obama, as he stopped for a bite at Rudy’s Hot Dogs in Toledo, Ohio.

Some say it was TWO chili dogs…..

Obamas visit mosque in Indonesia

News from the foreign press of Obama’s homecoming trip to/through Indonesia

I guess “Imam” Obama (smile) was given a pass on covering his head – or is that just for women.  I don’t know who he is lecturing in the photo.  I did note the lack of shoes.  Love those pants.  Really.  Used to have a pair like that.  Don’t know what happened to them.

Slightly OT:  I made a note of Obama’s breakfast choices when he was in Chicago campaigning with Alexi Giannoulias and Pat Quinn where they all ordered take out.  Here it is:  Pancakes, eggs and turkey sausage.  I’m just sayin’.

Obamas urge followers to fight for it

Word pictures from our president.

A few days ago it’s “hand to hand combat,” now he urges supporters to “fight for it.”

It’s probably my imagination, but they both look ashen to me.  What’s with the gray on blue – maybe it’s intentionally bleak.  And what does the body language say?

How do you think they would do in real combat — or in a Chilean mine?

Living a life of sacrifice

by John Stossel

Obama G20 Summit

We are lucky to have President and Mrs. Obama in the White House. They have sacrificed wealth and its comforts… for us.

I know that because they keep telling us. John Dietrich has been keeping track.

The president has repeatedly stressed the need for us to tighten our belts. He has informed us, “We can’t drive our SUVs and eat as much as we want and keep our homes on 72 degrees at all times …” During the campaign, his wife told us that we have to compromise and sacrifice for one another in order to get things done. Shortly after the election, the president said that “(e)verybody’s going to have to give. Everybody’s going to have to have some skin in the game.”

The Obamas have given up a lot.

According to Michelle Obama, one of the Obamas’ first major decisions after graduating from college was, “Do I go to Wall Street and make money, or do I work for the people?” As we all know Barack, decided to “work for the people.” During the campaign, Michelle informed six women in the playroom of the Zanesville Ohio Day Nursery, “We left corporate America.” She advised these working-class women to do the same: “Don’t go into corporate America. You know, become teachers. Work for the community. Be social workers.”

Please. The Obamas are part of the Washington elite, who have always indulged their champagne tastes while advising the rest of us to make do with less. The American people don’t need any lectures from the Obamas — or anyone else living large on the taxpayer dime — about sacrifice.

What’s good about America are its volunteers, and caregivers, and foster parents, and military families… who don’t belabor others with tales of their “sacrifice.”
