Media Matters not for America but Against America

They should lose their tax exempt status forthwith!

From their web site:

Media Matters for America is a Web-based, not-for-profit, 501(c)(3) progressive research and information center dedicated to comprehensively monitoring, analyzing, and correcting conservative misinformation in the U.S. media.

To be tax-exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, an organization must be organized and operated exclusively for exempt purposes set forth in section 501(c)(3), and none of its earnings may inure to any private shareholder or individual. In addition, it may not be an action organization, i.e., it may not attempt to influence legislation as a substantial part of its activities and it may not participate in any campaign activity for or against political candidates.

Organizations described in section 501(c)(3) are commonly referred to as charitable organizations. Organizations described in section 501(c)(3), other than testing for public safety organizations, are eligible to receive tax-deductible contributions in accordance with Code section 170.

And we have this organization taking names and making lists of all Fox employees?  This is about the most un-American thing I can think of.  Fox has a right to exist and any.body who wants to can work there and they should not be subjected to intimidation from Media Matters.  They are nothing but a hit arm for the left wing anyway.  This is ALL they do.

It’s way past time that the IRS take away their tax exempt status.  I don’t even think it is LEGAL to do what they do.  So maybe the FBI should investigate, too.

Politico published an eye-opening report on Saturday by Ben Smith about “Media Matters’ war against Fox.” Smith wrote that the organization continues to transform itself into an exclusively Fox News-battling group.

Media Matters founder David Brock told Politico that his organization’s activism has developed into a “war on Fox.” This strategy includes extensive work to compile intelligence on the employees of the cable news channel.

We made a list of every single person who works for Fox and tried to figure out who might be disgruntled and why, and we went out to try to meet them,” Media Matters executive vice president Ari Rabin-Havt told Politico. “Somebody in that organization is giving us primary source documents.”

This, people, is the “civil” left wing – waging WAR on a legitimate business.  They cannot stand an opposing view.  All they know how to do is SHUT DOWN free speech.  It is an outrage they have a tax exempt status!

Rachel is spinning Harry Reid’s comment by not mentioning it – makes me DiZzy

Round and Round like a top.

Just disregard the “hot” part in this vid. I’m talkin bout the Abracadabra part.

I clicked on the Rachel Maddow show last night just in time to see this segment she did on race.  This is a perfect example of twisting a story and actually in my opinion it is just dishonest.

(Most everyone has MSNBC blocked so for those who don’t watch, this may be interesting.)

The real story, of course, was the fact that Harry Reid played the race card big time on the floor of the Senate when he compared opposing or questioning this monstrosity of a healthcare bill he is pushing to somehow supporting slavery. More Here.

It is and was a ridiculous comparison to make to somehow put slavery on the same level as insurance reform to begin with.  One may not believe it if not for a video documenting it.

Apparently the GOP, or somebody, has put out an ad sort of making fun of his statements, which I think should be made light of,  which has folks saying they just must be a racist because they oppose the healthcare bill.

Reminds me of a Jeff Foxworthy joke.  “If you don’t love insurance reform, you just might be a racist.”

It has long been a joke now that every time anyone opposes anything this administration does, if all else fails, reach down real deep and bring out the race card.  It’s an old and tired tactic/antic.

But Rachel takes it to the ultimate in this segment on race and did not even MENTION the fact that it was Harry Reid’s racist statement that percipitated the response ad.  This was a crucial part of the story and it makes no sense to leave it out, except that is if you want to get attention off the absurdity of the Democrat Senator from Nevada, who has a 37 percent approval rating in his own state right now.

I put up the statement first and then the Maddow segement second – oh, the drama.  Spartacus?

These people have no bottom.  There’s nothing left to do but laugh.
