Democrats advising not to revive Jeremiah Wright – Barack Obama connection

I think I heard something about not bringing up Jeremiah Wright.   It goes:   “democrats are warning”  not to go there.  Makes me want to bring it up every day.

Why think about it:  Jeremiah says, “Barack knows what it is to be brought up in a country run by rich white people.”  Thing is, Barack is now “The Man” running the country.  And he ain’t doing so good, now is he?

Poor lil Barack.  Raised by a single mother and all — in Indonesia.  Poor lil Barack.  But, oh, wait.  His mother was white.  Was she a rich white woman?  Was she ever called “a nigger?”  No, she was a “typical white person” in the worst possible sense according to her darling son.

I wonder if Herman Cain knows anything about being a black man in America.  He is successful, he is smart, he has made it from rags to riches, and he is a republican and not a communist.  I guess he is not “clean and articulate” enough for Joe Biden, huh.  (So we are supposed to give a crap about his personal life?)

Oh, the stinking double standard.

I am more concerned about Barack sucking cocaine off Larry Sinclair’s thigh while he was an Illinois state senator than I am hearing about “Ginger White.”  Wonder if there’s a Sandy Black out there somewhere.

Watch the video to refresh your recollection and look into the heart of our alleged president and his “Audacity of Hope” mentor.  Pass it on.

“In an effort to preempt what could be a damaging political issue for President Obama’s re-election campaign, Democrats are warning Republicans against reviving his relationship with controversial ex-pastor Jeremiah Wright.”

Mass police are acting stupidly again

I guess this is the old uncle Obama compared Jeremiah Wright to.

The Framingham Police Department in Massachusetts just released Onyango Obama’s mugshot photo to The Washington Times Water Cooler. Mr. Obama, President Obama’s uncle, was arrested by Framingham police last week and charged with a DUI. He is being held by ICE authorities, as he is an illegal immigrant from Kenya.

Uncle Omar (Found)

A number of media outlets have already reported that an illegal  immigrant from Kenya by the name of Onyango Obama, 67, was arrested last week on Wednesday after he nearly rammed his SUV into a police car in Framingham, Massachusetts.

He was later charged with DUI among other violations Framingham Public Information Officer Lieutenant Delaney who told me that when Onyango Obama was asked at booking if he wanted to make a telephone call to arrange for bail, the Kenyan immigrant replied: “I think I will call the White House.”

It’s a lucky drunk (Breathalyzer .14) who can just call the president when he gets arrested.

But this was last week and the president was in Martha’s Vineyard

“He’s on vacation, Omar.  Do you have that cell phone number?”

Obama rolls out the Ten Commandments

How low will he go?

As part of a major new initiative from the faith community, Mr. Obama on Aug. 19 will participate in a call-in and audio Webcast with at least 25 faith leaders — from evangelical Christian, Jewish, Muslim and other religious traditions — to aggressively encourage their congregations to support health care reform. [Huh?]

Obama:  “I know there’s been a lot of misinformation” about health care reform, Mr. Obama said. “There are some folks that are, frankly, bearing false witness.”  These fabrications, Mr. Obama said, are distracting the country from its “core ethical and moral obligation… that we look out for one another.”

So if all else fails, play the Jesus card — or maybe it’s the Mohammad card — no, I guess it’s the Moses card.

“Give me Jesus on the line.”

And during this message, I heard him for the fourth time state there were 47 million people in the U. S. without health insurance.  That could be easily construed to be misinformation. See Previous Post. But I guess Dr./Rev./President Obama is exempt from the false witness thingy.   I wonder if he had the Reverend Jeremiah on the line?  Maybe he could pop out and say GD America a couple times to the Hallelujah chorus.

Now, that would be against our core ethical and moral obligation.

Another commandment comes to mind – Check out #5

Honor your father and your mother: that your days may be long on the land which the LORD your God gives you.

And where the hey is the ACLU?

Divine intervention in Obama’s election?

Spike Lee revealed he thought the economic difficulties plaguing the country were ordained by God to help get Barack Obama elected.  He made this revelation on Morning Joe this morning in an interview with Joe Scarborough.

Joe kind of set him up, though, in my opinion, saying, “I’ve always believed, and it seems naive, that God’s had a hand in America, and I get the sense you feel that God has had a real hand in this.”

Lee responded by saying, “So many things have happened — all of a sudden, the economy goes south at that moment, and then McCain — there were so many things.  It was almost a movement that had to be ordained, I think.”

On Sunday, Jeremiah Wright made an appearance in Washington, D. C., speaking at a chapel service at Howard University.  He thinks God had a hand in Obama’s rise, as well.

Wright hailed Obama’s inauguration as a sign of God’s providence and the fruit of “the faith of Rosa Parks and the blood of Martin Luther King Jr.”

“The Lord stepped into a scrawny black kid’s ability,” said Wright, pastor emeritus of Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago, in a sermon at the historically black university. “The Lord stepped into his story and gave him a new attitude. The scrawny kid with the big ears said. ‘Yes we can. I got a new attitude.'”

His sermon went on to say that God can give people a new ability, a new attitude and a new address, used Obama as a prime example. “Barack’s got a new address,” Wright said to an overflow crowd that stood and cheered. “1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.”

He also threw in a little dig that Michelle Obama will be the first black woman to sleep in the White House — legally.  I’ve heard that one before.  Then he went on to say that maybe next it will be a black woman as president.

Greta interviewed Roland Burris last night in his new senate office and he was emotional about Barack Obama.  He said that he felt Obama had divine favor, when asked how he thought Obama was able to overcome so many odds and become president.

Was Barack Obama’s presidency “divinely ordained?”  What do you think?

Jeremiah Wright Makes an Appearance at Trinity

Jeremiah Wright returns to Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago on Sunday to speak at the church’s 47th Anniversary.

He said that Barack Obama made a “bad decision” by distancing himself from the church.

In his usual inappropriate and “bombastic” manner, he called Elisabeth Hasselbeck of the View a “dumb broad.”  He didn’t call her out by name, but it is clear he was talking about her.   And, of course, that is inappropriate and sexist for him to say that, but it’s okay because — because, why?  No, it is not okay for him to use a pulpit as a place to insult someone.

Reporters were reportedly turned away at the door of the church but the sermons were streamed live on the internet and also for sale on tape from the lobby.

The media caught the marjority of his wrath it seems as he yelled (I’m sure he yelled, but I can’t find an audio or video of it yet, but I’m sure he yelled) — I can hear him screaming about the “gates of hell” — and not ABC, CNN, not Hannity, O’Reilly, Time, Time Magazine, Chicago SunTimes, or Chicago Tribune, I think he is saying they are equal to the gates of hell, not sure….(cheering, applause, I’m sure)…..and the “gates of hell shall not prevail against it.”  He didn’t seem to include MSNBC.  But then it is mostly about him anyway.

Confirmed:  I just heard clips of this “sermon” and sure enough he is screaming at the top of his lungs about the “the gates of hell.”  And, yes, everybody is applauding and he is strutting around.

He hasn’t changed a bit.  And I’m sure he has been just this way for the past, oh, say 20 years.

Jeremiah Wright Sees Obama Win as “Mixed Bag”

Jeremiah Wright reminisces about his experiences during the campaign of now President elect Obama.  He says he was kind of hurt when he found out about his removal, without being told, from  Obama’s African-American religious advisory committee last spring.  He said he found out about it while watching television.

Watching the election returns on TV—Wright was apparently not invited to the Grant Park rally—was somewhat bittersweet, he told Sirius XM Radio host Mark Thompson.

“It was like a mixed bag of being proud of him and being blessed to have lived to see something my parents would never have believed was going to happen while at the same time having been put up as the whipping boy by the media to be the weapon of mass destruction to destroy his candidacy,” he said.

He went on to say he would not hesitate to offer up criticism of Obama, reinterating the statement he made before the National Press Club in April 28, 2008.  Direct quote from the transcript is:  “And I said to Barack Obama, last year, ‘If you get elected, November the 5th, I’m coming after you, because you’ll be representing a government whose policies grind under people.’  All right? It’s about policy, not the American people.”

Bill Ayers Describes Himself as Family Friend of Obama

Bill Ayers, former 1960s radical activist turned college professor, listens to Rev. Jeremiah Wright Jr. speak at Northwestern University on November 7, 2008, during an event hosted by Northwestern’s Black Student Alliance.

From the Chicago Tribune:

In a new afterword to his memoir, “Fugitive Days,” 1960s radical William Ayers describes himself as a “family friend” of President-elect Barack Obama and writes that the campaign controversy over their relationship was an effort by Obama’s political enemies to “deepen a dishonest narrative” about the candidate.

Now a professor at the University of Illinois at Chicago and an expert on public school reform, Ayers was a member of the Weather Underground, a radical organization that claimed responsibility for a dozen bombings from 1970 to 1974.

He’ll appear Friday on “Good Morning America” to promote the re-issue of his book this week. The Tribune obtained a copy of the updated material.  See video of interview at :  http://abcnews.go.com/Video/playerIndex?id=6252993

In it, Ayers — who did not respond to requests for comment — summarized his relationship with Obama: “[W]e had served together on the board of a foundation, knew one another as neighbors and family friends, held an initial fund-raiser at my house, where I’d made a small donation to his earliest political campaign.”

Ayers lamented that his relationship with Obama became an issue.

Ayers’ new description of the relationship seems to contradict Obama’s statement, he’s just “a guy who lives in my neighborhood.”

I hate to say I toldja’ so, but it’s…..
