The IRS told lawmakers Friday that five staffers connected to the agency’s Tea Party controversy besides Lois Lerner probably lost emails due to computer problems.
Those five staffers include officials key to the various investigations into the IRS’s improper scrutiny of Tea Party groups – including Judith Kindell, who was a senior adviser to Lerner, the former agency official at the center of the controversy….
Pelosi said something about “draining a swamp” once upon a time. This ain’t no swamp. This is more like a boil that has to be lanced so the pus, the tainted blood, the infected fluids, – the obama – can be purged and destroyed.

I copied a post from the Daily Signal today. It reports a win against the corrupt IRS, but a very small one. Somebody should go to jail. Here’s just a few highlights I thought were noteworthy. Read the entire article below. The facts of this case are very revealing.
The IRS has to pay $50,000 to the National Organization for Marriage for leaking their donor list to their chief rival organization called Human Rights Campaign. This is totally against the law and the IRS admitted they did it. $50,000 is nothing. They should have had to pay much more.
And the president of the Human Rights Campaign, Joe Solmonese, the Same Month became the co chairman of the Barack Obama campaign.
And, of course, Eric Holder’s “Justice” Department has not prosecuted for the criminal offense.
The more I think about it, the more I sincerely believe the last presidential election was fixed. I don’t think it would be too hard to do when you have the entire power of the U. S. government at your fingertips and the law and the constitution means less than Zero.
Such a sad time in America. But some light shines through. Thanks to the ActRight Legal Foundation, who brought the lawsuit.
From The Daily Signal:
Two years after activists for same-sex marriage obtained the confidential tax return and donor list of a national group opposed to redefining marriage, the Internal Revenue Service has admitted wrongdoing and agreed to settle the resulting lawsuit.
The Daily Signal has learned that, under a consent judgment today, the IRS agreed to pay $50,000 in damages to the National Organization for Marriage as a result of the unlawful release of the confidential information to a gay rights group, the Human Rights Campaign, that is NOM’s chief political rival.
“Congress made the disclosure of confidential tax return information a serious matter for a reason,” NOM Chairman John D. Eastman told The Daily Signal. “We’re delighted that the IRS has now been held accountable for the illegal disclosure of our list of major donors from our tax return.”
The Daily Signal is seeking comment on the settlement from the IRS and Justice Department.
In his order entered this morning, District Judge James C. Cacheris granted the settlement of NOM’s suit against the IRS, which was represented by the Department of Justice.
In February 2012, the Human Rights Campaign posted on its web site NOM’s 2008 tax return and the names and contact information of the marriage group’s major donors, including soon-to-be Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney. That information then was published by the Huffington Post and other liberal-leaning news sites.
HRC’s president at the time, Joe Solmonese, was tapped that same month as a national co-chairman of President Barack Obama’s re-election campaign.
Eastman said an investigation in the civil lawsuit determined that someone gave NOM’s tax return and list of major donors to Boston-based gay rights activist Matthew Meisel. Email correspondence from Meisel revealed that he told a colleague of “a conduit” to obtain the marriage group’s confidential information.
Testifying under oath in a deposition as part of the lawsuit filed in U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, Meisel invoked his Fifth Amendment right not to incriminate himself and declined to disclose the identity of his “conduit.”
To get at that fact, Eastman said, the National Organization for Marriage has asked Attorney General Eric Holder to grant immunity from prosecution to Meisel.
The $50,000 to be paid by the IRS represents actual damages NOM incurred responding to the illegal disclosure, not punitive damages, since the marriage group was unable to prove disclosure of the confidential records was deliberate after Meisel took the fifth.
Meisel provided the marriage group’s tax data to the Human Rights Campaign, documents found as part of the investigation show. HRC is among organizations and activists advocating same-sex marriage that routinely describe NOM as a “hate group” or “anti-gay” for making the case for preserving marriage as the union of one man and one woman.
“We urge other groups that have suffered similar problems with the IRS to keep pressing until they, too, are fully vindicated,” Eastman said.
Eastman was referring to ongoing congressional probes and lawsuits over IRS targeting of tea party and other conservative groups that sought tax-exempt status.
In a draft press release on the settlement and admission by the IRS of wrongdoing, Eastman said:
It has been a long and arduous process to hold the IRS accountable for their illegal release of our confidential tax return and donor list, which was ultimately given to our chief political rival by the recipient. In the beginning, the government claimed that the IRS had done nothing wrong and that NOM itself must have released our confidential information. Thanks to a lot of hard work, we’ve forced the IRS to admit that they in fact were the ones to break the law and wrongfully released this confidential information.
Eastman, a lawyer and law professor, also is a member of the ActRight Legal Foundation team thatbrought the lawsuit against the federal government and the IRS on NOM’s behalf in October 2013. He said at the time that the Human Rights Campaign removed “redaction layers” from the electronic documents showing they originated at the IRS.
In May 2012, Eastman and NOM President Brian Brown asked the Department of Justice to investigate and prosecute the case. Eastman appeared last June before the House Committee on Ways and Means to testify about the illegal disclosure o the marriage group’s donors.
Unauthorized disclosure of confidential tax information is a felony offense that can result in five years in prison, but the Department of Justice did not bring criminal charge.
“We urge the Congress to explore this issue with the appropriate government officials,” Eastman said. “It’s imperative that all those who have engaged in corrupt practices and illegal acts in the IRS be identified and held accountable.”
Obama laughs as he elevates Ingram from targeting conservative groups to IRS’ implementation of Obamacare
This is obama spitting in our eye – again. He will have the IRS harrass the tea party or anyone who dares to speak out against him.. He is truly a TYRANT.
Lerner’s superior, Sarah Hall Ingram, was the most senior political appointee in charge of exempt organizations reviews during the years when the IRS was targeting right-wing groups. This year the Obama administration has elevated her to a position of authority over the tax implementation of the Affordable Care Act, the president’s signature health care overhaul.

JUST A COUPLE LIARS WITH NO HONOR
BOTH SHOULD BE IN JAIL.
The President of the United States and the Chief Law Enforcement Officer of the land – what a disgrace!
It is a very true statement that the fish rots from the head down.
From April of 2009, on obama’s 100th day in office:
At his 100th-day town hall meeting in St. Louis Wednesday, President Barack Obama took direct aim at the anti-tax “tea party” demonstrations that have cropped up over the last month and took a veiled shot at the Fox News Channel, the cable news network closely associated with the protests.
“Those of you who are watching certain news channels on which I’m not very popular, and you see folks waving tea bags around, Obama said, “let me just remind them that I am happy to have a serious conversation about how we are going to cut our health care costs down over the long term, how we are going to stabilize Social Security.”
So as early as April, 2009, when he said the above, he sent his message to all that the tea party was to be targeted. In essense, they are just “folks waving tea bags around” – not citizens of the country he is supposed to represent.
And then no later than on May 5 2013 at Ohio State University he said, “They’ll warn that tyranny always lurking just around the corner. You should reject these voices.” Of course, these are the very same “voices” he was talking about in 2009. Not even to mention the fact that he slyly cast suspicioun (along with his compliant media) that somehow the bombings in Boston were connected to “Tax Day”. And we all know who he thinks that would be.
And when you take a look at what has been revealed in the last week, you don’t think that is tyranny? But this man wants us just to “ignore it”? Never!

I believe the AP story is either released or maybe even manufactured in order to cover for the press in their derilection of duty in covering all other scandals, including Benghazi and IRS. This makes it look like the media was also a target of the administration, but I don’t believe it. Hell, they probably turned it all over to them if they wanted it.
The AP (among most others) but the AP in particular, has been in the back pocket of the obama regime from the beginning. I think the white house gives AP a story, they print it, and then all others pick it up because it has been given the seal of approval and supposed credibility by AP
Plus there is no way they care about the IRS targeting the tea party, et al, and they have known about it all along. So they have covered that up, also. They have all attacked the tea party and participated in the witch hunt..
And we know the entire corrupt media has been covering for the obama corruption and has been participating in the cover-up of Benghazi for months now.
So cry me a river over the AP!

NOTE: I know for a fact the Reuters was all in on the “video” story. They had numerous pictures of the Benghazi scene on the internet right after the slaughter and the burning, and on each and every one of the photos, the caption mentioned that this was an uprising caused by “an offensive video insulting Islam.” I saw this for myself within a day or two of the attack. Now, this could have come from none other than obama and his administration, because they Made .It. Up.
“He has, acting personally and through his subordinates and agents, endeavored to . . . cause, in violation of the constitutional rights of citizens, income tax audits or other income tax investigations to be initiated or conducted in a discriminatory manner.”

From their web site:
Media Matters for America is a Web-based, not-for-profit, 501(c)(3) progressive research and information center dedicated to comprehensively monitoring, analyzing, and correcting conservative misinformation in the U.S. media.
To be tax-exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, an organization must be organized and operated exclusively for exempt purposes set forth in section 501(c)(3), and none of its earnings may inure to any private shareholder or individual. In addition, it may not be an action organization, i.e., it may not attempt to influence legislation as a substantial part of its activities and it may not participate in any campaign activity for or against political candidates.
Organizations described in section 501(c)(3) are commonly referred to as charitable organizations. Organizations described in section 501(c)(3), other than testing for public safety organizations, are eligible to receive tax-deductible contributions in accordance with Code section 170.
And we have this organization taking names and making lists of all Fox employees? This is about the most un-American thing I can think of. Fox has a right to exist and any.body who wants to can work there and they should not be subjected to intimidation from Media Matters. They are nothing but a hit arm for the left wing anyway. This is ALL they do.
It’s way past time that the IRS take away their tax exempt status. I don’t even think it is LEGAL to do what they do. So maybe the FBI should investigate, too.
Politico published an eye-opening report on Saturday by Ben Smith about “Media Matters’ war against Fox.” Smith wrote that the organization continues to transform itself into an exclusively Fox News-battling group.
Media Matters founder David Brock told Politico that his organization’s activism has developed into a “war on Fox.” This strategy includes extensive work to compile intelligence on the employees of the cable news channel.
“We made a list of every single person who works for Fox and tried to figure out who might be disgruntled and why, and we went out to try to meet them,” Media Matters executive vice president Ari Rabin-Havt told Politico. “Somebody in that organization is giving us primary source documents.”
This, people, is the “civil” left wing – waging WAR on a legitimate business. They cannot stand an opposing view. All they know how to do is SHUT DOWN free speech. It is an outrage they have a tax exempt status!
