Barack Obama, Liar in Chief

Now that the Supreme Court has affirmed that Barack Obama is a liar by ruling that Odamnacare is a tax, after he has gone around the country and on national tv and told the Amerian people it was not a tax, and it’s time to take a look at how his entire life is a lie.  He can’t seem to tell the truth about anything.

Barack Obama’s America is eerily reminiscent of “The Emperor’s New Clothes,” where almost everybody sees the truth about their leader but is afraid to say it out loud.
The truth, in this case, is that the current occupant of the White House lies about virtually everything of importance to Americans. Barack Obama has lied about his birth, his childhood, his education, his influences and associations, his religion, his accomplishments, his policies, his true beliefs and his plans for America’s future. In fact, after more than three years as president, Obama’s lying has become so embarrassing and undeniable that the only defense his supporters have is to change the subject or to claim “Republicans do it too.”

Preventive Service Task Force recommends no screening for prostate cancer

A prominent U.S. government advisory panel is recommending that men of all ages no longer be screened for prostate cancer by undergoing the prostate-specific antigen (PSA) blood test.

The U.S. Preventive Services Task Force, an independent group of medical experts in prevention and evidence-based medicine, said PSA screening results in overdiagnosis of prostate cancer and unnecessary treatment that can leave men impotent or incontinent.

Basing its recommendation mainly on two major trials of PSA testing in asymptomatic men in the United States and Europe, the task force concluded screening may only help one man in every 1,000 to avoid dying from prostate cancer.

Well, that’s a relief, only one in a thousand.  That is, unless you are the one that could have been saved.  It’s not the PSA screening that has all these side effects, but the surgery, right?  Those who oppose this say that the PSA is the only effective tool for early detection.   This panel is recommending that men of all ages no longer  be tested. 

The way this is written, it sounds like all these dire side effects are the result of the test.  There should be no side effects to a blood test.

This is the same panel that rejected regular mammograms for women in their 40s.

Rationing?  You betcha’.

The question is who and what is this panel making these recommendations?  Well, even though they are said to be “independent,” they are funded, staffed, and appointed by the HHS (under the direction of “she who sitteth upon many waters,” apostate Kathleen Sebelius.)

Bishops will not bow to the idols made of obama

He started this.  The time is at hand to make the stand.  He is a real piece of work, taking on the church, the supreme court, the rule of law, just trying to undermine the entire constitution.  If he is able to rip this consitution, which is his utmost desire, we are all going to be eating dog meat for a long time to come.

The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops has taken a bold stand for religious freedom. In a recent statement, titled “Our First, Most Cherished Liberty,” the bishops call for repeal of contraception coverage mandated by the Department of Health and Human Services. The clarified position sets up a dramatic confrontation with the Obama administration—and would, if the bishops prevail, help preserve the religious liberty of all Americans.

The HHS mandate requires employers to provide insurance coverage for contraception and sterilization services. It is, according to the bishops, an “unjust law.” They write: “It cannot be obeyed and therefore one does not seek relief from it, but rather its repeal.”

The statement is a rebuke of President Obama and the so-called accommodation his administration proposed in February. It also raises the stakes between the president and the leaders of America’s Catholic Church.

The bishops call on Catholics in America, “in solidarity with our fellow citizens,” not to obey the law. They implicitly compare the HHS regulation to a segregation-era statute, and even cite Martin Luther Kind Jr.’s “Letter from a Birmingham Jail.” In a not-so-subtle manner, the bishops tell the Obama administration that they are willing to go to prison rather than comply with the mandate’s provisions.

Obama: Refers to Supreme Court as “An unelected group of people”

That’s the Supreme Court he’s talking about.  He actually said “unintelected”.

“And I’d just remind conservative commentators that for years what we’ve heard is the biggest problem on the bench was judicial activism or a lack of judicial restraint, that an unelected group of people would somehow overturn a duly constituted and passed law.” Obama said.

It certainly was not passed by a “strong majority” and isn’t every law that the Supreme Court considers a law passed by a “democratically elected congress?”

I am confident this will be upheld because it should be upheld.

And again, that is not just my opinion. That is the opinion of a whole lot of constitutional law professors and academics and judges and lawyers who have examined this law, even if they’re not particularly sympathetic to this piece of legislation or my presidency.

He sure is counting on people being “ignert” as Al Sharpton says.

Obama’s War on Catholics (and bald eagles)

Obama administration wages a WAR ON CATHOLICS

But he gives permission to an Indian tribe to kill bald eagles for their religious ceremonies.

   I don’t think he likes American symbols any more than he likes Christian symbols.  Remember when he had Christian signs and symbols covered at Georgetown University?

And back to the War on Catholics:

Barack  Obama’s controversial regulation of the health care policies offered by  religious organizations, one day after Catholic leaders repeated their offer to  hash out an agreement.

“The solution that was reached here … has been reached, and we firmly believe  that it achieves the goals that the president set,” Carney said at Thursday’s  White House press conference.

On Feb. 10 Obama announced a new regulation that forces religious groups to  financially support activities they abhor, but that the government supports. In  particular, the president directed religious organizations to provide insurance  policies that offer free contraceptives.

But “government has no place defining religion and religious ministry,” said  the Mar. 14 statement by the top-level administrative committee of the United  States Conference of Catholic Bishops.
