Only 26 percent strongly approve of President Obama’s performance
The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Saturday shows that 26% of the nation’s voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President. Forty percent (40%) Strongly Disapprove giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -14 (see trends).
Yesterday (12.15.09) a citizen’s rally was held at the Capitol protesting passage of the health care bill. Michele Bachman and Laura Ingraham were among the featured speakers.
Today, Senator Tom Coburn, Republican from Oklahoma and medical doctor, has called for the clerk to read in its entirety an amendment on the floor of the Senate, which is in progress now. It started about 12:00 p.m. on 12.16.09 and it’s 1:39 now. I don’t know how long it will take to read the amendment presented by Bernie Sanders (the only admittedsocialist in the Senate, more than 700 pages. Good. And I hear they may require the reading of the whole health care bill, over 9000 pages? Good, again. Fight. Slow it down. Stop it. Start over.
