Geese in formation over Restoring Honor rally

Keith Olbermann was making fun of Glenn calling this a “miracle” when the geese flew over about a minute before 10:00 on Saturday.

Reminded me of this flyover of Air Force One in April of last year scaring the living daylights out of lower Manhattan —- ordered by the white house for a photo op.

Report from Washington – Restoring Honor Rally

Things are really crazy on the ground here in DC…in an exciting and good way.

We believe the turnout for this rally tomorrow is going to ASTOUND the country.  The city is just PACKED to the brim with people already, today.

*Short video showing crowd*

Seeing is believing.  Huge crowd.  Totally peaceful.  My fellow Americans.  Wishing I could have been there.

We could begin to restore honor by the mainstream media and others telling the truth – just tell the truth.

An eye witness account:

Just got home from the rally. It was incredible. I was at the 9/12 event and incredibly, this was even bigger. It was packed so solid from the Lincoln Memorial to the WWII Memorial (~ 3/4 mile?) that you could barely cross the mall to get to the port-a-potties. From the WWII Memorial to the Washington Monument (Another 1/4 mile?) it was packed also, but not quite as dense.

Just as with all the other American patriot rallies, I saw no problems—and no garbage left behind. Lots of friendly faces.

The most memorable moment: Reciting the Pledge of Allegiance and singing the Star Spangled Banner with a million others. Not many dry eyes—incredibly moving and a feeling I will never forget.

Could we get a little tolerance here?

Greg Gutfeld to open gay bar near proposed Ground Zero mosque…..Or Grind Zero, featuring non-alcoholic drinks and “suspicious packages.”

I just heard a hilarious segment on Glenn Beck with Greg Gutfeld discussing his proposal for outreach and tolerance on the part of Islam toward Islamic gay men.  This is sort of an extension of my earlier suggestion that if they really want to promote diversity, there are many ways they could do this.  The tolerance is always demanded of others, but they show no tolerance whatsoever.

I’ll post a video as soon as it shows up somewhere, but here’s the back story:

Gutfeld says:

“So, the Muslim investors championing the construction of the new mosque near Ground Zero claim it’s all about strengthening the relationship between the Muslim and non-Muslim world.

As an American, I believe they have every right to build the mosque – after all, if they buy the land and they follow the law – who can stop them?

Which is, why, in the spirit of outreach, I’ve decided to do the same thing.

I’m announcing tonight, that I am planning to build and open the first gay bar that caters not only to the west, but also Islamic gay men. To best express my sincere desire for dialogue, the bar will be situated next to the mosque Park51, in an available commercial space.

This is not a joke. I’ve already spoken to a number of investors, who have pledged their support in this bipartisan bid for understanding and tolerance.”

Here it is:

(You mecca me hot!)

On top of this, Beck had a very revealing show today showing the background and connections of imam Abdul Rauf. Rauf is not a nice person.  Not very effing tolerant either.  I think he should be thrown out of the United States.

Did you know that the United States government – the State Department – is PAYING to send Rauf on an “outreach” mission?  Wonder if he’ll get enough to help him pay for the mosque.

I guess the separation of church and state does not mean the separation of mosque and state?  Let’s see, how long do you think it will be before the State Department pays for Franklin Graham to go to the middle east to promote “understanding:” of Christianity?

“This ain’t the first I’ve seen this dog and pony show…honey….”

What does Glenn Beck and Lindsey Lohan have in common?

I have actually been driven from all the news programs, even  Fox.  I can maybe take five minutes at the time.

Glenn Beck has about the best program on right now, without a doubt.  His show is filled with fact and history and investigative reporting that puts the others to shame and absolutely worth watching – most days.  Even he has some bad ones though.

“No Ratings”

But this is just so funny, him writing a message on his fingernails to illustrate just how low the news has gone as to make a really big story out of what Lindsey Lohan wrote on her fingernail.  I am sure her message was sincere, but it was not breaking news, but more appropriate for Entertainment Tonight.  And there is no lack of important news either,  but it’s all just pure propaganda and diversion.

Just an example of the ratings from July 7, 2010:

At 5:00
Beck on Fox:  1,950,000
MSNBC Matthews:  575,000

At 8:00
O’Reilly on Fox:  3,017,000  (who has thoroughly turned me off lately, by the way)
MSNBC Olbermann:  855,000

At 9:00
Hannity on Fox:   2,160,000
MSNBC Maddow:  796,000

Glenn Beck really likes hot dogs

This is classic.  Bill O’Reilly questions Glenn Beck about Anthony Weiner.  Beck eats a hot dog throughout the whole interview.  Laugh Out Loud.  But as O’Reilly says, under a certain set of circumstances, it is not the least bit funny.

See video:

How much does Anthony Weiner weigh?  95 pounds, more? or less?

Rumor has it Anthony Weiner and Jon Stewart were roommates after college.

Is it remotely possible the White House is behind Weiner’s sudden interest in gold?

Sedition? Give me a Break

William O. Douglas noted, “The Alien and Sedition Laws constituted one of our sorriest chapters; and I had thought we had done with them forever … Suppression of speech as an effective police measure is an old, old device, outlawed by our Constitution.”

Chris Matthews, Norah O’Donnell, and Time columnist, Joe Klein are practically accusing Sarah Palin, Glenn Beck, and others, of sedition.  Klein looked up the word and reads the definition, from a napkin, on the Chris Matthews Show.  I did not see this because I’m not going to watch the trash.  But this is so ridiculous.  They are getting silly, just silly.

I wonder if Chris Matthews and/or Joe Klein (or the president himself for that matter) have ever heard of the “chilling of free speech.”  Maybe while they are looking up the word sedition, they can look up something on that one.

What do they think of actually writing a book entitled, “How to Overthrow the Government?”  New York Times called it:  “Devastating” and David Shribman says that Huffington “has written a manifesto that can be summarized with an old-line popular cry: Throw the bums out.” Jim Hightower praised it: “Up with Arianna! She’s outraged, she’s knowledgeable,…and she points us in the right direction to take our country back.”  I think you can get a copy from Amazon for about $12.00.  I just hope to God it doesn’t excite anybody to violence.  🙂

“Huffington offers radical yet viable strategies for reclaiming our nation from the corporate and political powers that hold it hostage. For, as she argues, if We the People are to preserve and protect our more perfect union, we must stand up and fight for our country — before it’s too late.”

Yep, that’s exactly what the Tea Party movement is all about.

This is still America, we are Americans, and we will continue to speak, continue to rally, continue to meet, and continue to protest what is going on in our country.  And, yes, it is the government, the White House, and the media and the press, all working in concert to try to discredit, disrespect, silence, slander and defame the American people.

Take a look at this brand new poll from Pew showing about 80 percent of the people have no confidence in the government.  And I’ll add the media to that as well.  80 percent is a lot of folks.  Who could the drop in the bucket 20 percent be?  Probably the people in the White House and their mouths, the mainstream media.

Our numbers are growing, our resolve is getting stronger and stronger, and we know we are on the right side of this issue.

And about Sedition:

…..in the seminal free speech case of NEW YORK TIMES  Co. v. Sullivan, the Court declared, “ Although the Sedition Act was never tested in this Court, the attack upon its validity has carried the day in the court of history.” 376 U.S. 254, 276 (1964). In a concurring opinion in Watts v. United States, which involved an alleged threat against President Lyndon Johnson, William O. Douglas noted, “The Alien and Sedition Laws constituted one of our sorriest chapters; and I had thought we had done with them forever … Suppression of speech as an effective police measure is an old, old device, outlawed by our Constitution.”[2]

Funny little story about Sedition:

While the Alien and Sedition Laws were in force, John Adams, en route from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to Quincy, Massachusetts, stopped in Newark, New Jersey, where he was greeted by a crowd and by a committee that saluted him by firing a cannon. A bystander said, “There goes the President and they are firing at his ass.” Luther Baldwin was indicted for replying that he did not care “if they fired through his ass.” He was convicted in the federal court for speaking “sedicious words tending to defame the President and Government of the United States” and fined, assessed court costs and expenses, and placed in jail until the fine and fees were paid.[3]

Jury nullification was practiced in many cases involving the Alien and Sedition Acts.

I am sure Chris Matthews and Mr. Klein are keenly aware of all of this.  You don’t think they would try to bamboozle anybody, do you?

God, they sure do hate us.

Glenn Beck: Arianna Huffington is Media Matters after a couple drinks (Video)

“”ARIANNA HUFFINGTON, FOUNDER, “HUFFINGTON POST”: Aren’t you concerned about the language that Glenn Beck is using, which is, after all, inciting the American people. There is a lot of suffering out there, you know. When he talks about people being slaughtered, about who is going to be the next -“”

I didn’t actually see this event where Arianna made this comment.  And not too many did, as evidenced by the graph.  🙂

They keep taking these videows down.  I have trouble keeping up with them, but if at all possible, I’ll find another one and put it  up.  I am leaving the deleted one on here just to show how many videos You Tube/Google, or whoever it is, don’t want anyone to see.  (Or for what reason would they take them down? )

I love Glenn Beck.  Yesterday he took on Ms. Huffington responding to her claim that he called for people to be slaughtered and that he incited the American  people.  As is his style, rich with sarcasm, he crushes Arianna, referring to her as Media Matters after a few drinks.  🙂  (And I don’t mean actually crushed her body as under a steam roller or something, but figuratively speaking)  You wouldn’t think you would have to point that out,  but you do.

But, yeah, she is afraid the American people will be Incited.  That’s Us. The American people.  I wish people would stop saying the words, “American people” claiming every dumb thing they do or say is for us, when they frankly don’t give a damn about the American people.  But they are so worried about us being Incited and all, and so worried we don’t understand things, not even after it has been repeated umpteen dozen times.

But, of course, Glenn did not mean a literal slaughter which he proves without any doubt in the above segment.  I think the biggest problem is that Arianna, and others who think as she does, have absolutely no sense of humor.  And maybe, just maybe, they sell us a little short as well.

An.y.body would know he was talking about the economy.  Well, I would think anybody would know.  Glenn Beck is a comedian, and a good one at that, and a very talented man, as well as being a truth teller. It goes without saying some people just can’t handle the truth.

There’s a transcript of the video on the Newsbusters website if you prefer to read it, but the video really captures the “tone” and is quite funny to boot:

Read more: http://newsbusters.org/blogs/noel-sheppard/2010/02/02/beck-demolishes-huffington-shes-media-matters-after-few-drinks#ixzz0eUsNkUic.

Just for fun, here’s an example of some recent love speak from another network.  You know, the one that flat-lined on the chart.  I wonder if Arianna has been able to catch any of this “incitement” lately?!?  Glenn Beck don’t hold a candle to this spew.  Just sayin’. 🙂
