Related – EXPOSED: Hillary Asked For More Security In Benghazi, Murderer-By-Negligence Obama Said No
Excerpted from Fox News: President Obama said Friday he was “not personally aware” of any request for more security by U.S. diplomats in Libya before the Sept. 11 strike on the consulate.
The president addressed questions about those requests during an interview on “The Michael Smerconish Show.” Several weeks ago, former security officers testified on Capitol Hill that they had sought additional protection in the months leading up to the attack — further, a recently released cable from Ambassador Chris Stevens himself on the day of the attack noted “growing problems with security” in Benghazi.
“I was not personally aware of any request,” Obama said Friday, adding that there is an “infrastructure” in place to “manage requests.”
“Ultimately, though, any time there is a death of an American overseas, I want to find out what happened because my most important job as president is keeping the American people safe, and we will get to the bottom of what happened,” he said.
The White House had previously indicated that the State Department dealt with requests for security. That hasn’t stopped lawmakers from pressing the administration for more information. House Speaker John Boehner, in a letter Thursday, raised concerns about documented “security problems” in the country before the attack and asked when was the last time Obama was briefed by Stevens.
Stevens was killed along with three other Americans in that strike. In addition to concerns about security requests that were denied in the months leading up to the attack, sources have also told Fox News that a request for back-up from those at the CIA annex on site was also denied on the night of the attack.
Obama said Friday he “absolutely” plans to take action against whoever is responsible for the attack.
“My biggest priority right now is bringing those folks to justice and I think the American people have seen that’s a commitment I always keep,” Obama said. He also said he wants to make sure “they are captured” — without saying whether he would prefer they be captured, as opposed to killed.
Obama went on to defend his administration’s handling of the attack after the fact. As other officials have said, Obama said public statements made at the time about the nature of the attack were based on initial intelligence — and that nobody was playing politics.
He is making a point not to give a press conference and not to go on the MSM to try keep the public from being informed until after the election. AND THE MAINSTREAM MEDIA IS HELPING HIM COVER IT UP. NEW YORK TIMES IGNORES IN MASSIVE MEDIA CORRUPTION. As Pat Caddell said last night, “the media is an enemy of the American people.” I will add that so is our (soon to be ex-) president.
It is annoying beyond words to hear him refer to the savages who killed our people “those folks”.

Dear God in Heaven! Newt just closed his coffin via his comments today. He just might as well hang it up. He just revealed himself in his comments to Megyn Kelly. This is no time for him to begin sounding like a liberal just to get back at Romney. He’s beginning to sound like obama with this class language about what is “fair.” (Unless what I just heard is way out of context because I did not hear it firsthand.)
NOTICE TO REPUBLICAN CANDIDATES: Keep your eye on the prize. We want obama OUT and it really does not matter that much which one defeats him.

They should lose their tax exempt status forthwith!
From their web site:
Media Matters for America is a Web-based, not-for-profit, 501(c)(3) progressive research and information center dedicated to comprehensively monitoring, analyzing, and correcting conservative misinformation in the U.S. media.
To be tax-exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, an organization must be organized and operated exclusively for exempt purposes set forth in section 501(c)(3), and none of its earnings may inure to any private shareholder or individual. In addition, it may not be an action organization, i.e., it may not attempt to influence legislation as a substantial part of its activities and it may not participate in any campaign activity for or against political candidates.
Organizations described in section 501(c)(3) are commonly referred to as charitable organizations. Organizations described in section 501(c)(3), other than testing for public safety organizations, are eligible to receive tax-deductible contributions in accordance with Code section 170.
And we have this organization taking names and making lists of all Fox employees? This is about the most un-American thing I can think of. Fox has a right to exist and any.body who wants to can work there and they should not be subjected to intimidation from Media Matters. They are nothing but a hit arm for the left wing anyway. This is ALL they do.
It’s way past time that the IRS take away their tax exempt status. I don’t even think it is LEGAL to do what they do. So maybe the FBI should investigate, too.
Politico published an eye-opening report on Saturday by Ben Smith about “Media Matters’ war against Fox.” Smith wrote that the organization continues to transform itself into an exclusively Fox News-battling group.
Media Matters founder David Brock told Politico that his organization’s activism has developed into a “war on Fox.” This strategy includes extensive work to compile intelligence on the employees of the cable news channel.
“We made a list of every single person who works for Fox and tried to figure out who might be disgruntled and why, and we went out to try to meet them,” Media Matters executive vice president Ari Rabin-Havt told Politico. “Somebody in that organization is giving us primary source documents.”
This, people, is the “civil” left wing – waging WAR on a legitimate business. They cannot stand an opposing view. All they know how to do is SHUT DOWN free speech. It is an outrage they have a tax exempt status!
Juan Williams says, “I used to think the left wing was the home of tolerance, open-mindedness, and respect for all viewpoints but I learned the truth the hard way.”
Yep, that’s right. The far left progressives are the most narrow-minded, intolerant people on the face of the earth. It’s no wonder we can’t have a conversation about race or anything else in this country because a person can easily lose their livelihood and reputation for an opinion not approved by them.
I hope this opens eyes as to the true nature of the left-wing and their McCarthy-like retribution and black listing of opposing view points. This includes the likes of Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, NAACP, and other organizations and people who pretend to represent a particular group.
Goodness knows, I don’t agree with Juan Williams, but the vicious attacks of the extremists on the left must be stopped. Oddly enough, the extremists I am talking about in this case are partially tax funded. Ms. Shiller even went further to not only fire Mr. Williams but is trying to ruin his reputation as well. This is what they do to completely shut down opposing opinions and any true dialogue in this country. Kinda’ makes you think of communism.
Tea Party victory in Delaware
And who is whining? I just learned something about Karl Rove. He is mud-slinging the People’s Choice for a republican candidate. I was shocked at this. What he just said here tells us where Castle got his negative talking points against Christine. I should have known, but I guess I didn’t notice as long as we were somewhat on the same side. (Oh, boy – wake up!) What the hey is he talking about “in the bushes?” That is so silly. Rove sounds like a democrat smear machine. I read something yesterday about Christine being “homeless” and being in a financial mess. Well, we are all going to be homeless and broke very soon if we keep electing the likes of Mike Castle, who acted as a enabler for all the spending measures the democrats put forward.
Has anybody checked to see what kind of house Mike Cap and Tax Castle has? How much money does he have in the bank after basically living off the taxpayers for 9 terms? Who has been financing him so that he has had no financial problems? I believe the SEIU and various other special interests. Is Castle one of the “fat cats?” I’ll bet Karl Rove is a fat cat, too. Neither one of them will be living in the car any time soon.
I heard Christine referred to several times this morning as “that woman.” I am beginning to see a pattern here. I guess she better brace for the Sarah Palin treatment. But from the republicans? Well, yes, I see it now, the “leaks” within the McCain campaign about Sarah’s clothes, et cetera, from those within the party who clearly did not have her best interests at heart.
I think Christine O’Donnell can win. They said she couldn’t win the primary. Wrong. But I would rather have a democrat in that seat than someone like Castle, hands down. At least then it would be a clear democrat vote and not a shady so-called bi-partisan vote.
Now I am hearing the republican party is not going to support Christine O’Donnell. Well, they didn’t support her for the primary and she won. She can win the general without them.
Karl Rove and the republicans better get on board. The Tea Party isn’t even a party in an organized sense, but it will be if the republicans turn against the Tea Party candidates. Every time they declare things like that they are not going to fund or support the chosen candidates, the stronger the Tea Party gets.
Congratulations, Christine. Onward and Upward.
