What does Eric Holder plan to do “informally”?

“…..a little sad that I will not be a part – a formal part” (then he repeated it for emphasis) – “a formal part of the great things this department and the president will do in the next two years…..”

This is not exact because I couldn’t find a written transcript of his remarks, but it’s close.

This statement stood out to me.

These people never use “idle” words, so I am just wondering what he plans to do INFORMALLY.  Is he really not going to leave, just pretend to?  Wouldn’t surprise me one bit.  Or, will the president choose a figurehead with the understanding that Holder will remain in charge?  Probably doesn’t much matter because his choice will a ditto anyway.  Never a creative thought wanders through his brain.  It’s all programmed commie.

Just something to watch.

JUST A COUPLE LIARS WITH NO HONOR

BOTH SHOULD BE IN JAIL.

The President of the United States and the Chief Law Enforcement Officer of the land – what a disgrace!

It is a very true statement that the fish rots from the head down.

From April of 2009, on obama’s 100th day in office:

Obama targets tea bags at town hall

At his 100th-day town hall meeting in St. Louis Wednesday, President Barack Obama took direct aim at the anti-tax “tea party” demonstrations that have cropped up over the last month and took a veiled shot at the Fox News Channel, the cable news network closely associated with the protests.

[snip]

“Those of you who are watching certain news channels on which I’m not very popular, and you see folks waving tea bags around, Obama said, “let me just remind them that I am happy to have a serious conversation about how we are going to cut our health care costs down over the long term, how we are going to stabilize Social Security.”

So as early as April, 2009, when he said the above, he sent his message to all that the tea party was to be targeted.  In essense, they are just “folks waving tea bags around” – not citizens of the country he is supposed to represent.

And then no later than on May 5 2013 at Ohio State University he said, “They’ll warn that tyranny always lurking just around the corner. You should reject these voices.”  Of course, these are the very same “voices” he was talking about in 2009.  Not even to mention the fact that he slyly cast suspicioun (along with his compliant media) that somehow the bombings in Boston were connected to “Tax Day”.  And we all know who he thinks that would be.

And when you take a look at what has been revealed in the last week, you don’t think that is tyranny?  But this man wants us just to “ignore it”?  Never!

Issa to sue Eric Holder over his failure to release Fast and Furious documents

House Oversight and Government Reform Chairman Darrell Issa plans to sue Attorney General Eric Holder on Monday for refusing to provide documents related to the “Fast and Furious” gun-smuggling operation.

“The committee expects to file the civil contempt suit against the attorney general Monday,” a Republican source said. The suit will be filed in the federal district court for the District of Columbia.

The action is the latest escalation in the dispute between House Republicans and the Justice Department over the documents, which relate to a botched gun-smuggling operation.

On June 28, the House voted to hold Holder in contempt of Congress and authorized the Oversight panel to bring suit to enforce its rights.

And Harry Reid and the demos are squawking about Romney releasing tax returns which don’t mean a thing, while remaining silent and inactive when their party and administration obstruct justice, even their own attorney general.  People are so sick of this BS.  We can’t get rid of this oorrupt adminitration fast enough!

More media malpractice, double standard, bias

Tonight, the Big Three news networks–ABC, CBS, and NBC–covered today’s explosive Fast & Furious developments with sharply contrasting approaches. CBS News put together an informative and satisfying report while ABC and NBC spun and downplayed the story to minimize harm to the Obama administration.  http://alturl.com/q8r6u

The president of the United States asserts executive privilege to avoid handing over documents to congress in Fast and Furious and NBC leads with a weather report.  It’s June and it’s hot.  Big news that is.

Media malpractice, double standard, and bias is rampant.  If this were a republican president, this would be blasting day and night in frenzy mode to condemn the administration and the president.  If (when) Romney is elected president, you will notice a dramatic change in the once mainstream coverage of events.  It will once again be all the president’s fault, from the weather to killings in the streets of Chicago.  With obama, nothing is his fault, poor little guy.

Just as an aside, yesterday on HLN (CNN), I saw a report on a guilty verdict in Miami in a trial of a black boy setting afire a white boy.  The entire segment was short, but very noticable was the fact that they flashed very, very fast on the defendnat (black) and focused entirely on the white victim without a single mention that defendant was black.  If you had blinked, you would have missed that fact.  Can you imagine the uproar CNN would produce if the situation was the other way around.

So these networks have absolutely zero credibility.  Zero.  Even when searching for information on the internet these days, I avoid any report that comes from a once mainstream source, NBC, ABC, CBS, CNN, NYT, et cetera, and try to find other sources, even though it’s hard to do because most are just quotes from the MSM.  Nevertheless, there are local newspapers and radio that give a much more accurate accounting of any incident.

You cannot believe the once mainstream media.  Bottom line.  Unless you want to see what they say and then remember it is probably the exact opposite of their presentation.

Sensenbrenner: It’s called impeachment

It depends on what the meaning of lie is.

http://townhall.com/tipsheet/guybenson/2011/12/08/holder_you_know_lying_is_such_a_complicated_concept

They can’t start the impeachment proceedings soon enough for me and we can start at the very top.

From Jim Sensenbrenner:

“There is really no responsibility within the Justice Department,” Sensenbrenner said. “The thing is, if we don’t get to the bottom of this — and that requires your assistance on that — there is only alternative that Congress has and it is called impeachment, where our subpoena powers are plenary and there can‘t be any type of legal immunity or privilege that can be asserted on that.”

“But if we keep on getting pushed down the road and the can keeps getting kicked, and we don’t get closure to this, what is Congress to do so that we don’t spend all our time in court arguing privilege?” Sensenbrenner continued. “That is not a way to get at the truth.”

Father of slain border patrol agent: “I know they’re lying”

Slain Border Patrol agent Brian Terry’s mother and father told the Fox News Channel’s William LaJeunesse on Friday  that Attorney General Eric Holder is responsible for Operation Fast and  Furious — and they don’t trust anything he’s saying about the gun walking  program.

“I know they’re lying,” Kent Terry said about claims from Holder and  Assistant Attorney General Lanny Breuer that they didn’t know about Fast and  Furious. “I know they’re just nothing but liars.”

“I’ll bet you if he [Holder] lost his son, he would think different

President now deciding constitutionality of laws – Strikes down Roe v Wade

Do you believe the president has the power to declare a law unconstitutional?  Or that the attorney general has the power to decide not to enforce a law?  Well, it may be just fine if you agree with the action.  You may even cheer the fact that the president and the attorney general have violated the separation of powers in the constitution in this instance as regards DOMA.

BUT the problem with this is the next president may just decide on a whim something you don’t agree with.

Do we honor the constitution or don’t we?  Where is the massive condemnation of Obama and Holder for this bold move?  Where is the press?  We have no press in this country.

By Jeffrey Lord:

WASHINGTON
January 21, 2013

Barely twenty-four hours after her inauguration as America’s first woman chief executive, President Sarah Palin announced today that Attorney General Mark Levin has been instructed to stop defending Roe v. Wade and abortion in a wave of fresh lawsuits filed in federal courts around the country.

Said the Attorney General:

Roe v. Wade contains numerous expressions reflecting moral disapproval of unborn children and their potential intimate and family relationships — precisely the kind of stereotype-based thinking and animus the (Constitution’s) Equal Protection Clause is designed to guard against.”

“Much of the legal landscape has changed in the 40 years since the Supreme Court created a so-called ‘right to privacy,’ which has no constitutional basis and no tangible form,” Levin said in a statement. He noted that various Supreme Court justices have previously ruled that laws authorizing the taking of the life of an unborn child are unconstitutional and that Congress has forbidden the federal government from paying for abortions.

At the White House, a spokesman said Palin herself was never one to be “grappling” with her personal view of abortion, and has always personally opposed Roe v. Wade as “unnecessary and unfair.”

Levin wrote to House Speaker John Boehner, R-Ohio, that Palin has concluded Roe v. Wade fails to meet a rigorous standard under which courts view with suspicion any laws targeting minority groups who have suffered a history of discrimination. “The unborn, perhaps the most vulnerable minority group in history, have a severe history of discrimination,” added the new attorney general.

The attorney general also said the Justice Department had defended the law in court until now because the government was able to advance reasonable arguments for the law based on a less strict standard.

On Wednesday, Levin said the president has concluded that, given a documented history of discrimination against the unborn, classifications that include genetic detection of sexual orientation should be subject to a more heightened standard of scrutiny than the department had been applying in legal challenges to the act up to now.

The attorney general said the department will immediately bring the policy change to the attention of two federal courts now hearing separate lawsuits targeting Roe v. Wade.

The decision brought an angry response from Planned Parenthood. In what sources say was a heated phone conversation with the head of the pro-abortion group, one shocked Justice Department career attorney said the Attorney General was heard to say:

“Get off the phone you big dope.”

Oddly enough, this same president ignores the fact a federal judge has declared Obamacare unconstitutional.  Impeachable offense?
