Swarms of locusts in Egypt over weekend

Let my people go!!

Passover plague: The bugs have fueled apocalyptic fears because of the infestation’s proximity to the Bible story of Passover in which a swarm of locusts, the eighth of ten plagues, is imposed on Egyptians by God for enslaving and abusing ancient Hebrews.

According to Alwatan News, Egyptian minister of agriculture Dr. Salah Abd Al Mamon has remarked that “against our predictions, a swarm of locusts has reached the region south of Cairo. The swarm is comprised of 30 million individuals, and it is causing great damage to agriculture in the Giza area.”

Morsi says we need to pay more respect

The gall of this man:

On the eve of his first trip to the United States as Egypt’s new Islamist president, Mohamed Morsi said the United States needed to fundamentally change its approach to the Arab world, showing greater respect for its values and helping build a Palestinian state, if it hoped to overcome decades of pent-up anger.

Morsi, we don’t respect your “religion of peace.” We don’t respect your “values.”  We don’t respect a religion that screams Death to America, burns our flag, kills our people.  It’s not our behaviour that needs to change.

And listen to this:

A Pakistani minister offered $100,000 on Saturday to anyone who kills the maker of an online video which insults Islam, as sporadic protests rumbled on across
parts of the Muslim world.

We’re running out of patience with the religion of “peace” and intolerance.

Obama living in wonderland – mentally challenged or a man with a plan?

This is a real picture of the president in Orlando in January of 2012.  He was pushing his Executive Order to boost tourism to the USA. He really did fly Air Force One to Disney World for a 13 minute speech in front of Cinderella’s Castle. This is a perfect depiction of the la-la land he is living in.  He made this comment:

“Obviously our national security is a top priority,” Obama said, as he stood in front of the Magic Kingdom. “But we also want to get more international tourists coming to America.”

So he is admitting right there that there is a national security concern.  I thought at the time it might not be a good idea to loosen requirement for entry into the country, and I wonder that today.  It was under the guise of creating jobs, but where are the jobs?  Plus this was his idea alone instituted by Executive Order, not by Congress.

He also said:  “People want to come here,” he said. “So this is what it’s all about: telling the world that America is open for business.”

Well, maybe not for thousands who don’t like us much.

Dressed in a suit and armed with nothing but a box cutter, they may seem harmless…..Just sayin’.

I feel as though we are hung out to dry and very, very unsafe at this time.

“Every American should be ashamed of their president”

On Hugh Hewitt’s radio show Thursday night, National Review  columnist Mark Steyn, author of “After America: Get Ready for Armageddon,” said President Barack Obama gave an embarrassing performance Wednesday during  his campaign swing through Las Vegas, Nev., in the wake of attacks on U.S.  diplomatic stations in Libya and Egypt.

“I thought that thing last night with the president saying he had ‘a tough  day’ and comparing the dead Americans in Libya to campaign supporters, which he  did — I thought was one of the most disgraceful, inept and embarrassing  performances by a head of state or government that I have ever seen,” Steyn  said. “Every American should be ashamed of their president.”

Exactly.  For him to make any statement on these serious matters from the campaign trail and not from Washington, D. C., is disgraceful in itself.  Now we learn he had warnings, and that he went to bed while our embassy was being trashed and Americans killed.  Disgraceful!

We don’t have a president.  What is Congress going to do about it?

And these assholes in the media, as the shameful Joe Scarborough, are still blaming Mitt Romney for something, I don’t even know what.  Mitt Romney is not the Commander in Chief.   Oh, how I wish he were!!

We need a president while corrupt media protects the excuse for one we have and he campaigns in Vegas

Ace of Spades says:

But with four Americans dead, our flag burning, and our embassies trashed, you know what really makes me angry?

Our president isn’t.

Think about that fact.

Our president isn’t. He read a bland and bloodless set of prepared remarks for 10 minutes, hid behind Hillary Clinton’s ever-widening skirt, took no questions, and then thought the best thing he could do would be to hit the Vegas strip.

We need a president.  God help us hold out a few more months.

Another “Fast and Furious” type scenario, this time in Libya?

This is Ameriphobia!!!
(CBS/AP)  J. Christopher Stevens, U.S. Ambassador to Libya, who was killed in an attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, eastern Libya, on Sept. 11, 2012. (State Department)
Updated at 9:27 a.m. Eastern(CBS/AP) U.S. Ambassador to Libya J. Christopher Stevens was among four Americans killed in an attack by Muslim protesters on the U.S. consulate compound in Benghazi the previous evening, the U.S. government confirmed Wednesday.”I strongly condemn the outrageous attack on our diplomatic facility in Benghazi, which took the lives of four Americans, including Ambassador Chris Stevens,” President Obama said in a written statement released Wednesday morning. The U.S. government had confirmed one American death on Tuesday.President Obama said he had ordered heightened security at all U.S. diplomatic offices around the world in the wake of the attack in Benghazi and a similar but less violent incident in Cairo on Tuesday. Both incidents were sparked by hardline Muslims protesting a film made in the U.S. which insults the Muslim prophet Muhammad.Military officials told CBS News an anti-terrorism team of U.S. Marines was being deployed to Libya to help secure U.S. interests in the country following the attack. The State Department said, however, that no Americans were remaining at the facility in Benghazi. State officials would not confirm how many Americans were evacuated, or to where.Wanis al-Sharef, a Libyan Interior Ministry official in Benghazi, said the four Americans were killed when the angry mob, which gathered to protest a U.S.-made film that ridicules Islam’s Prophet Muhammad, fired guns and burned down the U.S. consulate in Benghazi. He said Stevens, 52, and other officials were moved to a second building – deemed safer – after the initial wave of protests at the consulate compound. According to al-Sharef, members of the Libyan security team seem to have indicated to the protesters the building to which the American officials had been relocated, and that building then came under attack.…..Al-Sharef said the Libyan guards employed to guard the consulate building were far outgunned by the protesters, and thus retreated when the building was stormed.   http://alturl.com/qqjyw  (They abandoned their post!!!)

*Warning* Graphic pictures of an injured or dead Ambassador Stevens

Another graphic picture and the video supposedly causing all this:  http://alturl.com/pradf, and another:  http://alturl.com/v8vkh

Many many questions are raised about these incidents both in Libya and Cairo yesterday (9/11).
Q.  Were these Americans (including 2 Marines) killed in Libya by American provided guns?
Q.  Why was this consulate compound guarded by “Libyan security team” and why did they tip off the protesters of the location of the ambassador?
Q.  How in the world did these people in Benghazi and Cairo know about some obscure film when it’s not even known of here?
This was the first statement from the American Embassy in Cairo whining about “hurting the feelings of Muslims”.  Notice the Seal of the United State of America in the upper lefthand corner of the stationery.:
Can you say commander and chief?  Who would that be?

The Embassy of the United States in Cairo condemns the continuing efforts by misguided individuals to hurt the religious feelings of Muslims – as we condemn efforts to offend believers of all religions. Today, the 11th anniversary of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on the United States, Americans are honoring our patriots and those who serve our nation as the fitting response to the enemies of democracy. Respect for religious beliefs is a cornerstone of American democracy. We firmly reject the actions by those who abuse the universal right of free speech to hurt the religious beliefs of others

Sounds to me like something that would come directly from the mouth of our feckless leader.

Flashback: How the media sugarcoated the Egypt uprising

We were warned, mostly by conservatives, that the Muslim Brotherhood would take over in Egypt.  It wasn’t hard to see it really.  The warning flags were very apparent.  And it is coming to pass.  We are lied to and misled time and time again by our left wing media, or more accurately, we are brainwashed.   They portrayed this uprising as a wonderful thing, broadcasting live as they gushed over what was happening.  obama also praised it and supported it, saying democracy was really breaking out in Egypt.  He knew, they all knew what would happen and they supported it.  How long are we going to put on blinders and go whistling along?

Below is a repost written last year February 1, 2011.  It illustrates the contrast between the propoganda on the media and the reality.  The propoganda continues to this day.

The “Sunny” demonstrators in Egypt

I  turned to Morning Joe this morning for the first time since the Egypt riots started.

Eugene Robinson was describing the mood of the crowd as “sunny” and “buoyant.”

Then on the Daily Run Down, Brian Williams comes on, from Cairo, and describes the crowd as ? darn can’t remember the word he used, whatever, it made it sound like they were dancing in the streets.  Just remembered:  It was “jubilant” is the way he described them.

So did I miss something?  What happened to the fires and the rocks and smashed cars and broken ancient statues?

But then this is MSNBC.  These are the same people who have described the Tea Party, a peaceful assembly of American citizens as angry mobs, racists, thugs and tea baggers.  Nice to know Egyptians get more respect than we do.  But it’s okay.  Really.  This just makes me look at this more closely.  These demonstrators more than likely are not what they first appear, for democracy and all.  Anti-American maybe?

Let My People Go!

The first flights evacuating stranded Americans from Egypt took off today amid escalating violence across the country and desperate scenes at the capital’s international airport.

In Egypt, violent anti-government demonstrations have claimed 27 lives and left thousands injured.  One source dated today says there have been 100 killed.

The Sacramento Bee has described the demonstrations in Cairo as:

In one of many astonishing scenes Friday, thousands of anti-government protesters wielding rocks, glass and sticks chased hundreds of riot police away from the main square in downtown Cairo and several of the policemen stripped off their uniforms and badges and joined the demonstrators.

There was the burning of tires and police cars.

Compare the scene above with this scene in our own country.  This is democracy in action with peaceful assembly addressing grievances and taking it to the VOTING BOOTH – civil and quite orderly.  How radical, huh? Of all the Tea Party demonstrations, there has not been one arrest.  No violence whatsoever.  Yes, prayer and song and the pledge of allegiance to the flag.  Lots of talk about the Constitution.  And what did the MAINSTREAM corrupt media have to say about the Tea Party?  They have lied, that’s what they have done.
