The headline could read, Liberal Huffington Post blogger and CBS democrat analyst arrested for incest
Interesting little tidbit. Columbia political science professor,David Epstein, 46, arrested for a three year sexual relationship with his daughter. He has also appeared as political analyst on CBS and written for Huffington Post.
He and his wife, Sharyn O’Halloran, also is a professor at Columbia, were written up in a article about “love at work” in 2007, during the time of the alleged incestuous relationship with his daughter.
I wonder who turned him in. Probably the girl’s psychiatrist. I don’t know if she is the daughter of his wife, Sharyn, or not. It states she was 18 when the relationship began, but I would guess, if I had to guess, that at the very least he had been grooming her for years.
This is an example of who is teaching young adults about voting and politics.
This little pervert wrote on the Huffington Post in July of 2009:
Democrats gained seats in the House and (now, thanks to Biden) a filibuster-proof majority in the Senate because they were seen as more willing and able to work seriously on the problems facing the country. Here again the public was right — the Democrats are making tough policy choices and even playing their role as a check on the administration, especially in economic and financial policy, while the Republicans have become not just an ineffectual out-of-power party, but a parody of an ineffectual out-of-power party, spouting mean-sounding nonsense on major policy issues (“Government spending doesn’t work!” “There is no such thing as global warming!” “Hunger is a good motivator!”), and taking hypocrisy in their personal lives to new levels of self-indulgent weirdness (“It wasn’t just an affair, it was a love story!”). It’s as if they’re trying to get a head start on another 40 years in the wilderness.
And in the same post he goes on to Sarah Palin, thus:
And now, finally, Palin has done what weak, self-centered people do when the going gets tough — they quit and blame someone else.
I can’t wait until he tries to blame it on the girl and say she seduced him or something. Wait for it, it’s coming.
In September, 2009 he writes on HuffPo:
I’ve been called partisan, and indeed I’m a strong supporter of the Democratic party and what it’s doing now (with the exception of bank non-regulation).
So while I hope, and expect, the president’s speech to be effective politically, the terms that he lends to the debate, and the elevation of the discussion above what we’ve gotten so used to hearing, are, for me, equally important; true manna from heaven.
(Reminded me of this story: A Duke official was arrested last July for molestation of a five year old boy.)

Well, it has already started. These sick and depraved progressives are calling it consensual and “not clear-cut abuse.”
This is their MO. Rationalize their own behavior because they do no wrong, while at the same time seek to destroy others who do not agree with them for little things like uttering a few words they don’t like. This piece of excrement was bashing Sarah Palin at the same time he was having sex with his own daughter. I’ll tell you, this is the grave danger of socialist/progressive doctrine. “We do as we like, we don’t have to abide by the rules or the laws that you do.” They say, “We are ‘superior’ human beings” and what we do is okay. We really would like to rid ourselves of you other people, and we have no problem with doing just that. Arianna Huffington of the Huffington Post has called us “lee-zard brains.” A lizard can be disposed of without a thought.
It is especially grievous to them to have to answer to “equality under the law” because they believe themselves to be above the law – the law of the land and the law of God. It is a devil’s philosophy or a “doctrine of devils” and must be stopped. The evil deed is bad enough, but far worse is the attempt to justify it as acceptable behavior. To sin is human, but to deny it is sin is wicked indeed.
Imagine for a moment if this were an outspoken conservative, (oh, Sarah Palin for example or Glenn Beck) and in your mind’s eye you will see what I am talking about.

Well, facts are facts and if Professor Epstein has now pleaded guilty, the presumption of innocence is over. Epstein is still listed as a faculty member on the Columbia University Web site.
Is Epstein’s behavior something that the university tolerates or approves?
