Rush Limbaugh a closeted democrat?

Just read this piece by Joan Walsh in Salon.  Here is an excerpt:

I’ve decided Rush Limbaugh must be a closeted Democrat. I can’t think of any other reason he would be leading the Republican Party over a political cliff by advising that they double down on the culture wars.

With new poll data showing that President Obama is quickly gaining ground among women voters, at least partly due to Republican extremism on contraception, Limbaugh told his listeners Thursday that the GOP would win the election if it’s decided on culture-war terms.

“Something tells me, that if the upcoming election could be decided on social issues, the Republicans could win that in a landslide, because we are on the right side of the culture war,” he said. “The problem is, we’re scared to death of it. The Republican establishment wants no part of it.”

Smart Republicans are indeed afraid of the culture wars – because they know they’re on the losing side. Sadly, there aren’t very many smart Republicans anymore; or at least there aren’t very many who will stand up to extremists in their base and say enough is enough on their jihad against birth control.

http://www.salon.com/topic/rush_limbaugh/

Wow.  A “jihad against birth control?”  A jihad?  Ah, the new tone.

This Joan Walsh is one dumb broad.  And the funny part is she thinks she is the utmost in intelligence.

NOBODY wants to take her ever-lovin’ birth control pills, for god’s sake.

She and her kind are the ones running a jihad.  They presume to know what Americans think, and they are so wrong.  This is the boneheadedness that is going to lose for them.  There’s going to be such a landslide against their ilk in this country and it is going to make their heads spin.

I frankly think it is they, obama and his minions like Joan Walsh, that have gone off the cliff.

Remember, it is obama who started the contraceptive controversy.  As someone pointed out, it was really George Stephanopoulis who first threw out the question when he bore down on his questioning of Romney in the ABC debate.  And you think ABC and the rest of the media are not working in concert with the obama administration and the democrats?  Think again.  They needed this issue – this non-issue – so they could then claim the republicans are trying to get rid of contraceptives.  Not true.  As long as the government stays out of the Bedroom, all is well.  But obama cannot tell the church what they have to do.  He cannot and he will not and he has overstepped his bounds.

He has, however, done the impossible – united the Catholic Church and the Baptists and evangelicals.  Whoa, I don’t think he saw that coming.

I think it has backfired big time.  So, don’t worry your pretty little head about it, Ms. Walsh.  Have your day, yak your trash.  You just don’t know what you are dealing with.

Why do democrats want to kill babies?

Well, they have run the race issue entirely into the ground.  It’s coming out the other side by now and no longer holds any power.

So – the democrats have to manufacture something else.  And it’s to revive, ressurrect, an issue that has been solved so many years ago it’s not even funny.

All at the instigation of and coordination with obama.

They are staging walk outs at congressional hearings that are trying to get to the bottom of “Does the president have the power under the Constitution to mandate to the Church or to anybody for that matter what they must do?”

Lord have mercy. this is so silly I can hardly believe it.  There is not a single solitary woman who does not have access to contraceptives, probably for free somewhere, and if not free maybe they can use that mighty $40 obama is taking from Social Security to pay for them, so this is not even an issue.

Some dumbass congressman said yesterday that the republicans – the republicans, of course, the republicans, want to keep women barefoot and pregnant.  What the hell is he talking about?  Nobody has said one solitary word about keeping women from their birth control.  Have at it.  They are saying it’s a “War on Women” on MSNBC.  Stupid!  Women can be so stupid at times.

But I guess it has to come to this; obama is presiding over the decline of America and he is making all situations worse and worse.  Can’t talk about that, so they make up issues.  They had gotten to the absurdity of calling a black person a racist against another black person and blaming Bush for what has been now three years of  obama rule.  So something had to give.

So this is it:  Contraceptives.  What obama has really done is brazenly crossed a line and violated the Constitution to the worst degree yet.  And he does not care, because he does not revere the Constitution.. Far from it, he disdains the Constitution.  He even has said so recently, blaming the founding fathers for creating a form of government that keeps him from doing what he wants to do.  And with the Criminal and Dictator mind that he has, he just plows ahead.  Those who shrug and go along with him on this better think twice.

Being a law abiding person that I am, it never even occurred to me that a law or the Constitution did not really prevent anyone from doing anything.  If they are of a mind to and do not respect the law, they can do it all day long, every day, day and night, and unless somebody stops them, the fact that it’s against the Constitution or the law is meaningless.

This is what we have in the white house.  An “obamanation” that is persecuting the Church in particular and religion in general and it does not bother him one little bit.  He has said in his heart, stop me if you can.  I am wondering where are our representatives, but then, I remember, What representatives?

So I want to know why obama and the democrats hate pregnant women so much and why they want to Kill Babies?  (Fire with Fire)  This is what we should all be shouting from the rooftops.  Why do they want to kill babies?  Why do they want to prevent women from getting pregnant so bad?  Why do they equate pregnancy to some kind of disease?  Who has defined preventing pregnancy as health care and having a baby as “punishment?”

Why don’t we turn it around on them?  Why do the liberals always rail away with outrageous language and nobody says a word?  Because they are without question in the wrong.  But they are sly and cunning and we are not ready because we don’t think that way.  We better start double-thinking them.

As I said before, it really is a war on women – pregnant women – and the democrats and obama and his administration advocate infanticide.  I have never been for such a thing before, but now I wish all pro-life organizations and people in general would mass distribute visuals and videos or documentaries explaining what actually happens in an abortion.  It’s time for the cold, hard truth.

Even more than that, it is a War on the American People, and many do not even know it.

Just a little levity:  Maybe they will start passing these out.  Note he says even they are not free.  “I don’t supply em, you gotta buy em.”   http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IlJy18tycTw

The hypocrisy of Nancy Pelosi and other democrat Catholics ~ Stunning

Why does the media not hold these people to account for their hypocrisy?

“Pope Benedict warned Catholic politicians they risked excommunication from the Church and should not receive communion if they support abortion.”

Some prominent Catholics:  (more complete list at bottom)

Nancy Pelosi

Joe Biden

Kathleen Sebilius

Dick Durben

John Kerry

Charles Rangel

Vatican City (AP) – Pope Benedict XVI received Nancy Pelosi, one of the most prominent abortion rights politicians in America, and told her Wednesday that Catholic politicians have a duty to protect life “at all stages of its development.” The U.S. House speaker, a Catholic, was the first top Democrat to meet with Benedict since the election of Barack Obama, who won a majority of the U.S. Catholic vote despite differences with the Vatican on abortion.

May 12, 2010

(CNSNews.com) — House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) says she believes she must pursue public policies “in keeping with the values” of Jesus Christ, “The Word made Flesh.”

Pelosi, a Catholic who favors legalized abortion, voted against the ban on partial-birth abortion that was enacted into law in 2003.

…..

After Pope Benedict XVI met privately with Speaker Pelosi in February 2009, the Vatican issued a statement saying: “His Holiness took the opportunity to speak of the requirements of the natural moral law and the Church’s consistent teaching on the dignity of human life from conception to natural death which enjoin all Catholics, and especially legislators, jurists and those responsible for the common good of society, to work in co-operation with all men and women of good will in creating a just system of laws capable of protecting human life at all stages of its development.”

QUESTION:

“The administration has issued a regulation that will require all healthcare plans to cover sterilization and all FDA approved contraceptives including those that induce abortions. This will force Catholic individuals and institutions to act against their consciences. All across the nation..”

PELOSI:

“Is this a speech or do we have a question disguised as speech?”

QUESTION:

We cannot and will not comply with this law.

Will you stand with your fellow Catholics in opposing this law?

PELOSI:

I’m going to stand with my fellow Catholics in supporting the administration on this. I think it was a very courageous decision that they made and I support it.

Following is a list of the members of the 112th Congress who refer to themselves as Catholics.

Meet the Catholics in Congress

Here’s our snapshot of the spectrum of pro-life votes and views of Catholics on Capitol Hill, newly updated for the 112th Congress.

WASHINGTON — Catholics make up about 28% of the members of Congress, compared to 30% when the 111th Congress began. But both figures are higher than the percentage of Catholics in the U.S. population, 24%.

Following is a list of the members of the 112th Congress who refer to themselves as Catholics.

The percentage next to them is their pro-life rating since 1997, as compiled by National Right to Life. Information prior to 1997 was unavailable at press time. They are listed from the highest pro-life rating to the lowest.

Mitt pushes back as George persists with silly question

The audience applauded Romney and booed George Stephanopoulos in Saturday night’s debate when he just kept on harping on contraceptives.

See it here.  It was beautiful:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_0ra2UDIsmk

I was reminded of this post from Newbuster back in 2009 of how close Stephanopoulos was to the obama white house.  It is well known that he is just working to get him re-elected and how he gets to chair a debate is beyond me.  But even further beyond me is why the republicans subject themselves to questioning by the biased liberal media who are their enemies.

Quoting Warner Todd Huston | January 29, 2009:

How can we believe that [James] Carville, [Paul] Begala and especially [George] Stephanopoulos will  be informing us of what is really going on since we are now aware that they have  been daily joining a powerful member of the Democratic Party in ideological  strategizing? How can we believe that we are getting anything other than the  Party line directly from Barack Obama instead of unbiased news when these three  men speak to us from our TVs?

Fire Carville, Begala and Stephanopoulos now. They have sold out to Obama and  cannot be trusted to report the news to the viewing public.

And then on 3.2.09, Warner Todd Huston of Newsbusters writes:

The unholy alliance between the White House and ABC’s George Stephanopoulos goes beyond mere conference calls with President Obama’s Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel.

The executive producer,  Ian Cameron, of ABC’s George Stephanopoulos “This Week” is married to newly-confirmed United Nations Ambassador, Susan Rice.

The more I thought about that little chihuahua  yapping at Mitt Romney and others on Saturday night, the madder I got.  It is a fact that he is a democrat hack and should not be allowed to say anything about politics at all.

Mitt should have just stepped on him like the little roach he is.
