Barbara Boxer “Don’t Call Me Ma’am” Spoof (video)

The real event where Ms. Boxer told a BRIGADIER GENERAL how hard she had worked for Her title of Senator.

Perhaps she could be stripped of her Senator title, huh?  I don’t think she has worked very hard for it in the past say 28 years but she is having to work a little bit now.

VOTE FOR CARLY FIORINA.  Send Boxer home for a rest.

California’s U.S. Senate race between Democratic incumbent Barbara Boxer and Republican challenger Carly Fiorina remains a virtual tie with less than two weeks to go until Election Day.

The latest Rasmussen Reports statewide telephone survey of Likely Voters shows Boxer picking up 48% of the vote, while Fiorina draws support from 46%. Three percent (3%) prefer some other candidate, and three percent (3%) are undecided. (To see survey question wording, click here.)

The race remains a Toss-Up in the Rasmussen Reports Election 2010 Senate Balance of Power rankings.

Obama campaigns for Barbara Boxer

Touchy.  Touchy.

bama encountered a little opposition yesterday while campaigning for Barbara Boxer in California.

When one protester shouted “repeal Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell,” Obama stopped and said, “We are going to do that,” as the crowd tried to drown out the shouting with chants of “Yes, We Can!” Obama added, “When you’ve got an ally like Barbara Boxer and you’ve got an ally like me who are standing for the same thing, then you don’t know exactly why you’ve got to holler, because we already hear you, all right? I mean, it would have made more sense to holler that at the people who oppose it.”

When the shouts continued, Obama finally said, “I’m sorry, but do you want to come up here?”

AUDIENCE MEMBER: Repeal “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell!”

THE PRESIDENT: We are going to do that. Hey, hold on a second, hold on a second. We are going to do that.

AUDIENCE: Yes, we can! Yes, we can! Yes, we can! Yes, we can!

THE PRESIDENT: Here we go. All right — guys, guys, all right. I agree, I agree, I agree. (Applause.) Now —

AUDIENCE MEMBER: (Inaudible.)

THE PRESIDENT: No, no, no, no, listen. What the young man was talking about was we need to — we need to repeal “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell,” which I agree with and which we have begun to do. (Applause.) But let me say this: When you’ve got an ally like Barbara Boxer and you’ve got an ally like me who are standing for the same thing, then you don’t know exactly why you’ve got to holler, because we already hear you, all right? (Applause.) I mean, it would have made more sense to holler that at the people who oppose it. (Applause.)

AUDIENCE MEMBER: It’s time for equality for all Americans!

THE PRESIDENT: I’m sorry, do you want to come up here? (Applause.) You know, the — all right, because can I just say, once again, Barbara and I are supportive of repealing “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell,” so I don’t know why you’re hollering.

Now, the problems that we have here put a further strain on folks in this state, forcing painful choices about where to spend and where to save. And the challenges folks have been facing here —

AUDIENCE MEMBER: (Inaudible.)

AUDIENCE: Yes, we can! Yes, we can! Yes, we can! Yes, we can!

THE PRESIDENT: Barbara — I just — everybody, I just wanted to confirm — I just wanted to confirm — I just checked with Barbara, so if anybody else is thinking about starting a chant, Barbara didn’t even vote for “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” in the first place, so you know she’s going to be in favor of repealing “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell.” (Applause.)

Note:  the above video is a short clip, but it really is interesting and revealing to watch from the beginning. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eX9AMRV2ZHw

From the man who said, “If they bring a knife, we’ll bring a gun,” and “Get in their face,” we now have him inviting the protester to what sounds like a personal fight, “come up here.”  And he just couldn’t resist blaming “the other side.”  He can’t seem to grasp that he IS the other side, so to speak.  In other words, he is the government,  the “establishment.”

Hope this doesn’t incite any violence. 🙂
