HERMAN CAIN takes Florida Straw Poll

Tea Party Favorite, Herman Cain wins the Florida straw poll this weekend.  He trounced both Perry and Romney.

This means to me that the mainstream media is not going to pick the candidate this time.  Herman Cain is not so much as mentioned anywhere, and this morning, they are going on and on about what this means to Romney and Perry.  I listened to a bit of MSNBC and I didn’t even hear Cain’s name in the discussion.  They can just chatter on.  Nobody is paying the least bit attention to them.

Roll on, Tea Party.  Roll on.

Florida’s survey was carefully controlled. The 3,500 delegates were all selected by each county’s Republican executive committee or the Republican Party of Florida, based in part on each county’s registered Republican voters.

Final Results:

Herman Cain, 37.1%
Rick Perry, 15.4%
Mitt Romney, 14.0%
Rick Santorum, 10.9%
Ron Paul, 10.4%
Newt Gingrich, 8.4%
Jon Huntsman, 2.3%
Michele Bachmann, 1.5%
