Republican House passes bill extending payroll tax cuts

WASHINGTON — Defiant Republicans pushed legislation through the House Tuesday night that would keep alive Social Security payroll tax cuts for some 160 million Americans at President Barack Obama’s request — but also would require construction of a Canada-to-Texas oil pipeline that has sparked a White House veto threat.

Passage, on a largely party-line vote of 234-193, sent the measure toward its certain demise in the Democratic-controlled Senate, triggering the final partisan showdown of a remarkably quarrelsome year of divided government.

The legislation “extends the payroll tax relief, extends and reforms unemployment insurance and protects Social Security — without job-killing tax hikes,” Republican House Speaker John Boehner declared after the measure had cleared.

Now, let’s see what kind of lies and deception will come from the democrats on this one.  Either Harry Reid will sit on it in the Senate as he has most every other bill the House has sent him, or the alleged president will veto it, as he has threatened.  They don’t care one whit about the payroll tax reduction.  They don’t care one whit about the American people.  It’s their way or the highway.

“Democracy” is really breaking out in Libya

This is democracy?

Oh, yes.  We are officially standing with this.

Kadafi captured alive and then scheduled for trial…..

Nope.  Tortured then Shot in the head.

I am beginning to understand what Ron Paul is talking about.  What you want to bet we are sending money to these animals.

(Even before Gadhafi’s death, the U.S. moved swiftly to assist Libya’s National Transitional Council, providing the rebel-led group with financial assistance. In July, the U.S., along with allies in Europe and the Middle East, recognized the NTC as Libya’s official government. And last month, the U.S. ambassador to Libya returned to Tripoli to lead a newly reopened American Embassy in a post-Gadhafi era.)

Hillary Clinton in Libya visit to support democracy

18 October 2011 Last updated at 13:01 ET

US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has travelled to Libya on an unannounced visit aimed at showing support for the Libyan people and building ties.

Mrs Clinton held talks with top officials from the NTC – Chairman Mustafa Abdul Jalil, Prime Minister Mahmoud Jibril and Finance Minister Ali Tarhouni.

She is the first US cabinet-level official to visit since Col Muammar Gaddafi was ousted.

She said the US offered support to all those who “believe in democracy” and said people must renounce violence and give up arms.

Fast forward to October 20, 2011:

Arab broadcasters showed graphic images of the balding, goateed Gadhafi – wounded, with a bloodied face and shirt – but alive. Later video showed fighters rolling Gadhafi’s lifeless body over on the pavement, stripped to the waist and a pool of blood under his head.

Standing, he was shoved along a Sirte road by fighters who chanted “God is great.” Gadhafi appears to struggle against them, stumbling and shouting as the fighters push him onto the hood of a pickup truck.

He was driven around lying on the hood of a truck, according to the video. One fighter is seen holding him down, pressing on his thigh with a pair of shoes in a show of contempt.

Really disgusting.

Obama supporters generate filth on Wall Street

The president, the vice president and top democrats are embracing this filthy bunch.  Nancy Pelosi said “God bless them” and yet she detested and condemned the tea party movement and ealled them astroturf and brown shirts.  Our Senate leader, Harry Reid, called the tea party protesters evil mongers.

If ever there was astroturf then this is it.  Always remember that what the left is accusing others of is what they are doing themselves.

These are their supporters and this should tell you all you need to know about them.  This is Bill Ayers type 1960’s anarchy, Days of Rage violence being ginned up.

Even Bloomberg is getting tired of it, probably because it’s costing him money, about $2 million in police overtime so far.

Wall Street protester defecates on police car

More lovely pictures displayed at Daily Mail:

I think they are trying to copy-cat the tea party but there is absolutely no resemblance to the tea party whatsoever.

And the proof of that is the fact that the progressives/democrats/socialists are FOR this and AGAINST the tea party.

The President said at the White House on Thursday. “People are frustrated and the protesters are giving voice to a more broad-based frustration about how our financial system works.”

Notice:  They DO NOT represent me, Mr. Obama.

Progressive blogs are in for the struggle, using Arab Spring model.  But the Arab Spring was for the overthrow of the leader, right?  We DO need a new leader:

REPOST: Obama team calls in Riot Police, helmets and all (Video)

Riot Police?  For the unruly Wall Street Protesters?  Oh, no – the Tea Party.  Remember this?

Just was reminded of this as Obama embraces his followers down on Wall Street.

Remember the media reaction to the huge and peaceful tea party rallies and how they hated it?  Imagine if even ONE had to be arrested, but out of all of it there was not one arrest.  It is so predictable that now the media, democrats, and Obama are siding with this bunch.  And if the police have a problem with them, it is the police’s fault.

Well, this is just further proof of media bias and which side they are on.  But for approximately 70 percent of the people in this country, further proof is not even necessary.

REPOST from April, 2010:

This is one of the most hilarious things I have ever seen.  The SWAT team in full gear called in to “control” the tea party people outside the Oakley-Lindsay Center in Quincey, Illinois, where Obama spoke today.  I am still laughing.  Somebody is wasting a lot of money here.

UPDATE:  Snipers on the rooftop.  Pictures Here.  Scroll down for new video at the bottom.   I kinda stopped laughing when I saw this today.  This is outrageous at a peaceful demonstration.  Intimidation and the chilling of free speech by the government, the Obama administration at war with the law-abiding citizens of the United States.

Look at this “violence.”  I ain’t never…..  :)   :)

Sad, sad, sad.  Lady Liberty cries.  The Obama police state.  Laughing no more.

See some more pictures:

Living in Wonderland

Let’s see, it must be a nightmare!

We’ve got the economy down the tubes, no jobs, homes foreclosed, record number on food stamps, the Attorney General running guns with the drug cartel, half a billion dollars lost to Solyndra and $5 billion more out the door to other losers and the president yawns and says hindsight is 20/20, the president ordering an American killed without due process while running around the country yelling pass this bill when his own majority leader won’t bring it up for a vote, left-wing Obama supporting slugs in the streets stopping traffic requiring overtime for law enforcement…..

And the democrats and their mouth, the media, are worried about a word on a rock painted over some 30 years ago and Hank Williams, Jr. using the word Hitler in the same sentence as our illustrious president after the tea party has been called everything from sons of bitches to terrorists, and dear god, most of all will Chris Christie run for president as masses of reporters gather?

Somebody has got to be kidding.

Sheriff Dupnik back in the news: Tucson SWAT Team Shot Iraq War Vet 60 Times in his Own Home

Remember Sheriff Dupnik from the Gabrielle Giffords shooting?  I guess this is the new tone and civil conversation Dupnik was talking about.   Now Mr. Media Hog is reprimanding the media for questioning him.  I wonder if President Obama will hold a memorial/pep rally in the slain vet’s honor?  This happened on May 5th and it is just now surfacing.

A Tucson, Ariz., SWAT team defends shooting an Iraq War veteran 60 times during a drug raid, although it declines to say whether it found any drugs in the house and has had to retract its claim that the veteran shot first.

Jose Guerena, 26

And the Pima County sheriff [AKA Sheriff Clarence Dupnik] scolded the media for “questioning the legality” of the shooting.

At first the Pima County Sheriff’s Office said that Guerena fired first, but on Wednesday officials backtracked and said he had not. “The safety was on and he could not fire,” according to the sheriff’s statement.

Flashback – Democrat Sheriff Dupnik, the left wing’s lover,  who irresponsibly and wrongly blamed so-called vitriolic rhetoric of talk radio and the tea party for the Tuscon massacre. Will he make the rounds on the liberal media circuit for being in command of a swat team that shot and killed a man in his own home in front of his wife and children?  That’s very vitriolic in my book.

High level officials, including the president, gang up on Church (Update 2)

A handful of people in a small town in Florida has caused a showdown of international proportions.  Why has the media propelled this event to such gigantic proportions? What’s their motivation?

I thought from the beginning that burning the koran was an unnecessary action sure to cause trouble, and I am not for burning the koran.  I repeat I am not in favor of this burning of the koran. But I do think there is another side to this and other questions to ask. Take a look at this picture.  This is an illustration of the destructive and violent nature of the “religion of peace.”  Nothing has happened yet and they are already erupting in violence against the United States.  This is my flag and I am not burning the koran.  So who the hell do these people think they are?  They don’t give a damn if they offend me, now do they?

Extreme Ameriphobia

(Photo from Drudge)

And, by the way, it is their responsibility as to how they react to this.  What if those opposed to the ground zero mosque had gone down and burned down the building or stomped on the koran in response to that?  Would we not blame those who did that and not those “inflaming passions by building the mosque?”  Yes, we would, and they would have to take responsibility for their actions.

So as all fingers point at the pastor of this little unknown, insignificant church that stands alone with 50 members, not even being affiliated with a larger denomination or organization, condemning them for what is their right to do under the constitution, we have the U. S. government in the highest levels of power coming down on them, including Eric Holder, Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama and others. Why are none of them speaking out against the violence against our flag and our country?  Where is our president and our secretary of state and our department of justice in defense of  America? Where is the ACLU in defense of freedom of speech?  Who is taking up for these 51 people and their “American values” of freedom?

Once again, as is always the case, when Obama mentions “American values” as he did in this instance and our tolerance, he did not stand up for the pastor’s right to freedom of speech and his religious freedom.  When Obama mentions “American values” he ALWAYS uses them to the benefit of other countries, illegals, muslims, terrorists, or anti-American activities.  Not ONE time has he said we as Americans have a right to protest a mosque at ground zero.  No, no, no, and is he concerned about “inflaming the passions” of those people who lost loved ones in the attack in Manhattan?  He is not.  In fact, he declared it was hallowed ground, and then, in effect, stated that he didn’t give a rat’s ass if it was.

So why the hell does our government not stand up for the ordinary rank and file citizens of this country and why do they allow our flag to be burned and stomped on without a single whimper?

“I just hope he understands that what he is proposing to do is completely contrary to our values as Americans, that this country has been built on the notions of religious freedom and religious tolerance,” Obama said.

What kind of statement is that?  We are talking about a church — religion.  If they want to set a fire and throw stuff into it, maybe that’s their belief.

I don’t believe our alleged president knows a thing about American citizens or American values and cares even less.

UPDATE:  09.09.10 @ 5:58 p.m.

Burning Canceled.

Citing the safety of people across the world, the Rev. Terry Jones and Imam Muhammad Musri held a news conference this afternoon to discuss the cancellation of “International Burn a Koran Day” and a proposed mosque to be built on the site of the terror attacks of Sept. 11, 2001.

Imam Musri made some comments similar to those which I would expect one to make who is seeking agreement and common ground, unlike the Imam Rauf

However, I would hope Mr. Jones is very careful on his trip to NYC on Saturday…..

UPDATE: Uh oh. Misunderstanding. It’s not canceled but suspended.

Muslim extremists showing some love to Christians in 2007.

Father Manuel Musallem, head of Gaza’s Latin church, told the AP that Muslims have ransacked, burned and looted a school and convent that are part of the Gaza Strip’s small Romany Catholic community. He told the AP that crosses were broken, damage was done to a statue of Jesus, and at the Rosary Sister School and nearby convent, prayer books were burned.

More in 2005:

The Saudi government burns and desecrates hundreds of bibles its security forces confiscate after raids on Christian expatriates worshiping privately or at border crossings.
