REPOST: Obama team calls in Riot Police, helmets and all (Video)

Riot Police?  For the unruly Wall Street Protesters?  Oh, no – the Tea Party.  Remember this?

Just was reminded of this as Obama embraces his followers down on Wall Street.

Remember the media reaction to the huge and peaceful tea party rallies and how they hated it?  Imagine if even ONE had to be arrested, but out of all of it there was not one arrest.  It is so predictable that now the media, democrats, and Obama are siding with this bunch.  And if the police have a problem with them, it is the police’s fault.  http://www.nypost.com/p/news/local/manhattan/it_brawl_street_WGonUcuHz7WBlnQZeK7gWK

Well, this is just further proof of media bias and which side they are on.  But for approximately 70 percent of the people in this country, further proof is not even necessary.

REPOST from April, 2010:

…..

This is one of the most hilarious things I have ever seen.  The SWAT team in full gear called in to “control” the tea party people outside the Oakley-Lindsay Center in Quincey, Illinois, where Obama spoke today.  I am still laughing.  Somebody is wasting a lot of money here.

UPDATE:  Snipers on the rooftop.  Pictures Here.  Scroll down for new video at the bottom.   I kinda stopped laughing when I saw this today.  This is outrageous at a peaceful demonstration.  Intimidation and the chilling of free speech by the government, the Obama administration at war with the law-abiding citizens of the United States.

Look at this “violence.”  I ain’t never…..  :)   :)

Sad, sad, sad.  Lady Liberty cries.  The Obama police state.  Laughing no more.

A Rosh Hashanah message from Jersey

I wonder if this is how it felt in Sodom, and Gomorrah, the day before the fire and brimstone fell from the sky…

We have been warned.

Irene, the hurricane that was — well, a tropical storm

Hurricane Irene was downgraded to a tropical storm Sunday morning as it made landfall over New York’s Coney Island with winds clocking 65 mph.

Read more: http://dailycaller.com/2011/08/28/tropical-storm-irene-floods-new-york/#ixzz1WKtXSyft

I was watching this yesterday and I am in doubt if it was even a hurricane when it first hit landfall.  If so, it certainly was not after that.  You could see there was no eye, that it had already broken apart.

Which is to be expected.  You just can’t tell what a hurricane will do.  That’s the hard part.  To evacuate or not to evacuate? To leave or ride it out?  This is what happens, over and over again the alarm is sounded and nothing happens.

Bloomberg and Christie are all over the place demanding people leave their homes.  Even Obama got pried out of his vacation to make an appearance at where?  FEMA headquarters.  Has he yet acknowledged Joplin?

At the coordination center, Obama said getting through the storm will be a “tough slog.”  (Get a load of the specially made up FEMA Barack Obama name plate, in case anybody wondered if it was a photo op.)

But what is most interesting is the way the media just keeps up the hype.  All day yesterday you see what has to be staged “reports” and they fog up the camera and splash water on the lenses, maybe even fake wind noise to make it look like they are in the midst of the most ominous storm ever.  They had Julie Banderas on camera in New York in perfect makeup all covered up with cap and designer raincoat and I don’t think there was a drop of water anywhere.  Somebody, I think it might have been the police chief, came on later in shirtsleeves and no hat or cap and shamed her into taking the hood down.

MSNBC calls in the big guns with Brian Williams anchoring and Al Roker on the seashore in rain gear, walking along the shore in Long Island.  Shep Smith working all weekend.  Geraldo wading in puddles in the streets of NYC last night.

Just a big media production.  And this morning, I see they finally downgraded it to a tropical storm.

Ever since Katrina was made into a big political weapon against George Bush, they have boxed themselves in. It’s not about safety, they don’t care a hoot about the safety of the people, it’s not about anything but these politicians trying to cover their asses in case something horrible happens and, of course, these states are all about collecting federal money.  The higher the winds, the more damage, the more disaster money they get.  (I wonder if the number of people without electricity also is a marker as to amount of disaster money.  Seems to be an important number…..)

That’s not to say hurricanes can’t be disastrous and horrific.  They can.  But there have been hurricanes since the beginning of time.  You do the best you can, but nobody, and I mean nobody, knows what they are going to do.

They all need to just get a little humility and admit they missed it this time.

Paula Deen the most dangerous person in the world? What?

Anthony whatever his name is called Paula Deen the most dangerous person in the world, or somethin’ like that.  I’m guessing he means because of her southern cooking being unhealthy or fattening or whatever.  But if you don’t like it, eat a piece of lettuce.

She comes on Fox and Friends yesterday to lay ole Anthony low with some good humor and an invitation to dinner.

And then, of course, this reminded me of hilarious Rob Batlett’s Cooking with Paula routine.  🙂

And to be thoroughly politically INcorrect – Invite a muslim.

Glenn Beck’s final show and Casey Anthony trial capture high rating numbers

Glenn Beck averaged 2.175 million viewers (542,000 adults 25-54) in his final episode. While up from recent history, far off his highs when he cleared 3 million viewers. Still, Beck was second on Fox News to only The O’Reilly Factor for the night (2.54 million viewers, 559,000 A25-54).

The Casey Anthony trial continues to be a boon for HLN as it again topped adults 25-54 for both total day and primetime. Nancy Grace led the cable news nets in primetime with 677,000 adults 25-54.

He reportedly still owns a Manhatten apartment, even though he has been treated horribly by the people of New York City.

Looks like he’s doing okay.   Only in America.  God bless Glenn and God bless Texas.
