Catholic Church sues Obama administration – no media coverage

This took place on Monday, May 21, 2012.  It seems a lot of people are not aware of it.  I  guess that’s because the corrupt media has not covered it.  Well, I’d call it a cover-up.  Wonder why?  Catholic Church suing the obama administration?  No big deal?  Huge deal.

The University of Notre Dame joined other Catholic institutions Monday in suing the Obama administration over its contraception mandate.

The lawsuit argues the mandate in the healthcare law requiring that insurance plans cover birth control for women without a co-pay violates the religious freedom of Catholic institutions.

The Archdiocese of Washington, the Michigan Catholic Conference and the Catholic University of America are among the other plaintiffs in the suit.

Notre Dame’s participation is notable because Obama gave a controversial commencement speech at the school in 2009. Anti-abortion-rights groups criticized the school for inviting Obama because of his position on abortion.

The suit was one of 12 similar actions filed Monday around the country, a release from the Archdiocese of Washington stated, bringing the total number of cases now pending over the mandate to more than 30.

Obama campaign hires Faith Vote Director

President Obama’s re-election campaign has tapped a 23-year-old [just turned 24] executive assistant in the White House faith-based office to head up its outreach to religious communities.

Michael R. Wear, who has worked in the White House for the past three and half years, will move to Chicago to become the campaign’s Faith Vote director next week, White House officials confirmed on Monday.

“It has been an honor working with Michael Wear to create positive faith-based and nonprofit partnerships to serve people in need,” said Joshua DuBois, executive director of the Office of Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships. Wear was DuBois’ executive assistant. (CT profiled then 26-year-old DuBois in 2009)
A native of Buffalo, N.Y., Wear was an intern during Obama’s 2008 campaign, specializing in outreach to religious groups. He helped arrange candidate Obama’s appearance at a presidential forum at Rick Warren’s Saddleback Church in California as well as a meeting between Obama and prominent Christian leaders in Chicago.

A faith vote director?  Who is running this campaign?  Pardon me for laughing.  I think it’s just “brilliant” to hire a 24 year old boy, an ex-Catholic, who worships at National Community Church, a non-denominational “evangelical style” church, to capture the Catholic vote and the rest of the “faith vote.”

“Michael has spent a number of years in the faith-based office so he knows the territory,” said Amy Sullivan, author of “The Party Faithful,” a book on religion and American politics. “But the Republicans would put somebody senior with years and years of experience and a big Rolodex in that position. And I guess that tells you something about how Democrats still view faith outreach and its importance.”

Maybe Amy is speaking out of school, but I hope Michael will consult with her on how to “reach out.”  The democrats are so precious, aren’t they?

Although he has been at the white house since he was about 19 or younger, he will now be moving to Chicago to begin his duties to get out the faith vote.

Right into the lions den.

If he is a sincere young man and truly a man of faith, I hope he runs, not walks, out of this situation as fast as he can.  It’s not worth it, Michael.

Manny Pacquiao feels the wrath of the “loving liberals”

The “tolerant” same-sex marriage left has struck again – this time, at the popular hangout The Grove, in Los Angeles. The owner of The Grove, Rick Caruso, tweeted that iconic boxing great and Philippines Congressman Manny Pacquiao would not be allowed “on the premises” thanks to Pacquiao’s outspoken opposition to same-sex marriage. “Boxer Manny Pacquiao is not welcome @TheGroveLA,” he tweeted. “@TheGroveLA is a gathering place for all Angelenos, not a place for intolerance.” Pacquiao was supposed to do an interview today with “Extra” at The Grove.

Look at this family.  America giving opportunity and lifting them up with success.  I am not a boxing fan, so this is the first I have heard of him.  Very, very sad.  The man is a Christian and he has stated his beliefs.  This is obama’s America where opinions are met with persecution.  Next these liberals are going to start throwing the Christians to the lions while they cheer from the colisium.  It is the same spirit driving them.

The guy is an obama supporter, but yet absolutely not allowed by the bully left to disagree with him.  My only hope is maybe he will open his eyes to what the far left is all about.  Remember what they did to Juan Williams when he strayed a bit.  He is still chattering on with his democrat talking points as far as I know, even though it was conservatives who stood for him and with him when he was attacked.

I see they call this fighter Pacman.  He can go either way, I guess.  He can cave and bow down and kiss their feet and beg and grovel for forgivness or he can stand his ground and tell them to go eat dirt.  I hope it’s the latter.

Honest to God, I am pretty hard, but this breaks my heart.

P. S.:  He clarified his statement.  I knew what he meant.  It was the reporter who mislead by including a scripture that was not referenced by Pacquiao.–box.html

Obama blasphemes – again

I somehow missed this part where obama is once again invoking the Name of Christ to push his agenda, as he endorses homosexual marriage using the Golden Rule.  As follows:

“This is something that, you know, we’ve talked about over the years and she, you know, [the First Lady] feels the same way, she feels the same way that I do. And that is that, in the end the values that I care most deeply about and she cares most deeply about is how we treat other people and, you know, I, you know, we are both practicing Christians and obviously this position may be considered to put us at odds with the views of others but, you know, when we think about our faith, the thing at root that we think about is, not only Christ sacrificing himself on our behalf, but it’s also the Golden Rule, you know, treat others the way you would want to be treated.”

Sometimes I wonder if this “practicing Christian” has even read the Bible.  And the Golden Rule works both ways.  He should start by treating others (who disagree with him) as he would like to be treated.

He’s the one who brought Christianity into the discussion, and now Chris Matthews has put the obama on the same level as God, so I have to respond…..

Quote Jesus Christ:

3  The Pharisees also came to Him, testing Him, and saying to Him, “Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife for just any reason?”

4  And He answered and said to them, “Have you not read that He who made them at the beginning ‘made them male and female,

5  “and said, ‘For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh’?

6  “So then, they are no longer two but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let not man separate.”

Quote Paul:

Don’t you realize that those who do wrong will not inherit the Kingdom of God? Don’t fool yourselves. Those who indulge in sexual sin, or who worship idols, or commit adultery, or are male prostitutes, or practice homosexuality, or thieves, those who are greedy or drunk, who use abusive language, or who rob people will not inherit the kingdom of God.

Quote John:

Then I heard what seemed to be  the voice of a great multitude, like  the roar of many waters and like the sound of mighty peals of thunder, crying out,

“Hallelujah! For the Lord our God the Almighty  reigns.

7 Let us rejoice and exult and give him the glory, for  the marriage of the Lamb has come, and  his Bride has made herself ready;

8 it was granted her to clothe herself with fine linen, bright and pure”—

for the fine linen is the righteous deeds of the saints.

9 And the angel said to me, “Write this:  Blessed are those who are invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb.” And he said to me,  “These are the true words of God.”

God uses marriage to describe the relationship of Christ and the Church.

A person can live however they choose, they can have sex with whomever they choose in any way they choose, but there can be no marriage of two men and two women.  Not possible.  End of story.

Bishops will not bow to the idols made of obama

He started this.  The time is at hand to make the stand.  He is a real piece of work, taking on the church, the supreme court, the rule of law, just trying to undermine the entire constitution.  If he is able to rip this consitution, which is his utmost desire, we are all going to be eating dog meat for a long time to come.

The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops has taken a bold stand for religious freedom. In a recent statement, titled “Our First, Most Cherished Liberty,” the bishops call for repeal of contraception coverage mandated by the Department of Health and Human Services. The clarified position sets up a dramatic confrontation with the Obama administration—and would, if the bishops prevail, help preserve the religious liberty of all Americans.

Barack Obama listens to a question from a guests attending the Health Care Summit.

The HHS mandate requires employers to provide insurance coverage for contraception and sterilization services. It is, according to the bishops, an “unjust law.” They write: “It cannot be obeyed and therefore one does not seek relief from it, but rather its repeal.”

The statement is a rebuke of President Obama and the so-called accommodation his administration proposed in February. It also raises the stakes between the president and the leaders of America’s Catholic Church.

The bishops call on Catholics in America, “in solidarity with our fellow citizens,” not to obey the law. They implicitly compare the HHS regulation to a segregation-era statute, and even cite Martin Luther Kind Jr.’s “Letter from a Birmingham Jail.” In a not-so-subtle manner, the bishops tell the Obama administration that they are willing to go to prison rather than comply with the mandate’s provisions.
