Girlfriend(s) emerge from Obama past – “She called him Bahr-ruck” with a trill

Well, I never.  Girls crawl out of obama’s past.  Not sure I believe it.  Something does not ring true somehow. Alex and Genevieve?

Obama was six months out of Columbia when Genevieve Cook came along and engaged him in the deepest romantic relationship of his young life. She called him Bahr-ruck, with the accent on the first syllable, and a trill of the r’s. Not Bear-ick, as the Anglophile Kenyans pronounced it, and not Buh-rock, as he would later be called, but Bahr-ruck. She said that is how he pronounced it himself, at least when talking to her…..http://www.vanityfair.com/politics/2012/06/young-barack-obama-in-love-david-maraniss

[Looks a little bit like Fluke, doesn’t she?  Well, a whole lot like her]

“She remembered how on Sundays Obama would lounge around, drinking coffee and solving the New York Times crossword puzzle, bare-chested, wearing a blue and white sarong.”  ( 🙂 )

Do you believe this?  Honestly?  Sounds like a cheap romance novel to me.  This is just a snippet, but the entire narrative sounds like that.

Interesting that all his friends were from PockySthan.  Hasan Chandoo, Wahid Hamid, Sohale Siddiqi, Beenu Mahmood.

I wonder what the strategy is, rolling this out at this time.

I don’t know, maybe it has something to do with this from the same period of time:

All things to all people, our Bahr-ruck.

Heroes never brag (video)

And presidents don’t take special credit for doing what presidents do – make hard decisions.  But then I guess a small and petty man has to jump up and down, saying “look at me, look at me,” not only because he actually made a right decision, but just because he is so Barney Fife.

Obama reminds me of a very funny episode of Andy Griffith where Barney was singing in a choir.  He could not carry a tune and sounded awful.  So Andy said to him that his microphone was so sensitive, he should sing a real soft.  He kept encouraging him to sing softer and softer until he was not making a sound.  As planned, they had somebody off stage do the singing and Barney was just mouthing.  When Barney heard the beautiful singing coming from his mouth (he thought), he was noticably shocked at how good he sounded, but almost immediately he got all puffed up with pride and took full credit. Here’s a clip from that Andy Griffith show.  Pretty funny.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5nKlI5D89xE

The video below illustrating obama spiking the footbasll  is Wow!  I don’t know who put it together but it’s perfect.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JsrSAqRrCc0&feature=youtu.be

P. S.:  More “me.”  Talks to the troops, gives shout-out to himself.
