President Barack Obama’s Secretary of Energy Stephen Chu uttered the kind of Washington gaffe that consists of telling the truth when inconvenient. According to Politico,Chu admitted to a House committee that the administration is not interested in lowering gas prices.
Chu, along with the Obama administration, regards the spike in gas prices as a feature rather than a bug. High gas prices provide an incentive for alternate energy technology, a priority for the White House, and a decrease in reliance on oil for energy.
As obama runs around the country on tax payer money lying through his teeth, his energy appointee actually comes out with the truth.
And here he is, the president, in 2010 saying Abound Solar will create more than 2,000 construction jobs and 1,500 permanent jobs, when in fact, they are now laying off 70 percent of the workforce.
President Obama used a weekly address in July 2010 to tout his stimulus package’s support for the solar industry. One of the companies he mentioned specifically, Abound Solar, just announced that it will lay off 70 percent of its workforce.
Abound would “creat[e] more than 2,000 construction jobs and 1,500 permanent jobs,” Obama claimed, and would be integral to the administration’s quest to “create whole new industries and hundreds of thousands of new jobs in America.”
He really is a serial liar.
The obama administration thinks that they will force us to rely on green energy. Of course, while they pollute the air with jet fuel exhaust and party, party, partyyyy.
Meanwhile, they crush multitudes of people, because there IS NO GREEN ENERGY. No, in the real world, we have to buy gasoline at $4.00 and up a gallon.
And if there were so called green energy, such as massive use of electric/battery powered cars (with gasoline back up, of course), it is ludicrous to invision all Americans riding around with a virtual extension cord attached to a golf cart trying to get to work and the grocery store. Just imagine what it would be like as they run out of a charge half way there. Should we go back to heating with fire? But we couldn’t do that either, because it would destroy trees. To me, it is an arrogance beyond belief not to use the natural resources we already know how to use and really have based a society on and go back to the dark ages somewhere. Not only arrogant but raw stupidity.
I suggest obama and Chu lead the way on this foolishness by riding a horse or a horse and buggy around. Obama says he might buy a Volt when he gets out of office. Wow. All I can say to that is I look forward to that day in a few months when he is out of office.
Everything the liberal does is based on a lie. It’s no wonder young people are having trouble at times dealing with life. The media and the “culture” presents the liberal viewpoint to them, and they look around and realize it has no basis in fact so then they try to twist their minds around it and it makes them crazy. Nothing makes sense to them because you have to begin with the truth; otherwise, you descend into some form of insanity or despair.
