Democrat controlled Senate voted down jobs/spending bill, Obama vows not to wait for congress

The jobs bill has been officially defeated by a vote of 50-49, rejecting President Obama’s $447 billion jobs bill.

All republicans voted against the bill.  Three democrats voted against the bill:  Ben Nelson of Nebraska and Jon Tester of Montana, along with Harry Reid who jumped over to the winning side at the last minute.  I’ll leave it up to him to explain that one because a no is a no on the record.  I have searched for a roll call vote but I cannot find one anywhere so I’ll just go with what ABC reported.

Menwhile, Barack H.(itler) Obama says he will not take no for an answer, and vows he will “Not wait for congress” but will find every possible way to “get it done” administratively.

“We’re not going to wait for Congress.  So my instruction to… all the advisers who are sitting around the table is, scour this report, identify all those areas in which we can act administratively without additional congressional authorization, and just get it done,” the president said at a meeting of his Jobs and Competitiveness Council in Pittsburgh.
