Obama demands members of congress to appear before him

“Who does he think he is?”

Krauthammer explains the essense of Obama in a few short minutes.   Obama demands some members of Congress to meet with him in the morning at 11:00 a.m.  Obama thinks as a dictator and a marxist and cannot seem to grasp co-equal branches of government:

Marco Rubio: Can’t compromise when the other side has no plan

Senator (Marco) Rubio: “I have watched the President give press conferences, I have watched the President give speeches, but I have yet to see a plan from the President. And with all due respect to my colleagues in the other party here in the Senate, I haven’t seen a plan from them either. They are the majority party. They control this chamber. They control the Senate. And I haven’t seen a plan from them.

“A moment ago we heard this talk about – well we have to compromise. Well it’s really hard to compromise when the other side doesn’t have a plan.

And so I would urge the leadership of this chamber and the President of the United States to offer their ideas on paper. Put your ideas on paper and offer them so we can begin to work on this concept of compromise that you’ve offered. Because you can’t compromise and you can’t negotiate with people that will not offer a plan.

They are blowing smoke with the so-called “Gang of 6” plan.  It’s not a plan.  It’s a decoy.  It’s not in writing.  It’s nowhere near being a piece of legislation.  Obama blew that out there to try to deflect attention from the fact they have no plan and the fact that the democrats and the president have shot down the only plan there is.

SHAME: Senate democrats just voted down (Correction: they TABLED IT) the ONLY legislation to deal with debt ceiling (updated)

(No, they did not vote on it, they tabled it – see update at bottom)

They just voted down cut, cap, and balance, which is the one and only piece of legislation in existance to deal with the debt ceiling.  These democrats are irresponsible and corrupt.  The House of Representatives passed them a responsible plan to deal with the debt ceiling and they VOTED IT DOWN.  And Harry Reid is actually proud of it.

Sen. John Cornyn (R-Texas) on Friday criticized Democrats for failing to advance a solution of their own:

“The Democrat-led Senate’s failure to both produce a budget and pass the Cut, Cap, and Balance Act of 2011 underscores the Democrats’ irresponsible commitment to the status quo,” Cornyn said. “While the President and Senator Reid refuse to produce a plan to deal with our debt crisis, Republicans will keep working to meet the nation’s fiscal challenges.”

House Speaker John Boehner accused (AND RIGHTFULLY SO) Senate Democrats defying the will of the American people — “who overwhelmingly support real spending cuts, caps on future spending, and a balanced budget to create a better environment for private-sector job growth.”

UPDATE:  I think I mis-stated this.  It’s even Worse than I thought.  Cut, Cap, and Balance was passed by the House of Representatives with some democrat votes.  When it got to the Senate, it was TABLED without debate and without a vote and Harry Reid recessed the Senate.

I think, if he really wanted a solution, he could call it up for debate and vote – at the very least.  Why won’t he?  What is he afraid of?

I just saw another democrat misrepresent and lie about this.

Here’s how the president and the democrats are united to sabotage a solution to the debt:

The Senate just voted 51-46 (along party lines) to indefinitely table the “Cut, Cap, and Balance” legislation. The House of Representatives passed the bill on Tuesday, but President Obama pledged to veto it.
