Words come back to haunt you

Cook up a big pot of crow stew.

I heard democrat Chris Van Hollen going on about some CBO projections that seem to indicate that a repeal of Obamacare would increase the deficit.  Right.  The CBO is a prime example of “garbage in, garbage out.”  And aren’t we impressed with all that democrat bi-partisanship.  They have done nothing but squawk and complain for the entire few days congress has been in session.

Projecting the 2010 election results, Mr. Van Hollen told David Gregory on the little watched Meet the Press around about July of 2010:

“I know these guys are popping the champagne bottles already over there, but the fact of the matter is the Democrats will retain a majority in the House,” Van Hollen said.

July of 2010

So Mr. Van Hollen does not know what he is talking about, he just talks.

Republican Pete Sessions said on the same program he thought the republicans would gain maybe 40 seats.  Republican John Conyn said he did not know, which was a pretty good answer because none of them knew. They get on tv and they talk and they talk and they are just guessing, just like the CBO is just guessing.  We all know they can come up  with most anything, depending on the information they are given.  Just as we also know that adding a massive new entitlement program like Obamacare is not going to save money, but will cost massive amounts.

I caught a few minutes of a hearing held yesterday on the bill to repeal Obamacare, and some democrat was on there explaining how it is going to save money, something about free physical exams and research.  I recognized one of the newly elected members, Tim Scott from South Carolina who was telling him he was not buying it.  I don’t buy it either (and I’m writing Mr. Scott today to tell him he is doing a great job).  I’ll make a prediction myself, that being that in 50 years, Obamacare, if allowed to stand, will be more broke than social security and medicare is today.  In fact, I doubt it would last 10 years.

Along these same lines, here’s what President Obama said about raising the debt ceiling in 2006 as a Senator:

He said: “The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies. … Increasing

America’s debt weakens us domestically and internationally. Leadership means that ‘the buck stops here. Instead, Washington is shifting the burden of bad choices today onto the backs of our children and grandchildren. America has a debt problem and a failure of leadership. Americans deserve better.”

“Leadership failure.”  Yep.  “Reckless spending.”  Yep.  During his brief reign of two years, the debt ceiling has increased from 11 trillion to 14 trillion dollars, and now looming is his request for an addition increase.

  1. Bella,

All spending starts in the House ,and under Nancy we got 5.4% Trillion deeper into debt (Did Obama veto anything she sent to him to sign?) I think that’s the progressives intention dig us into a hole so deep we can’t dig ourselves out of. They seem to think the passing of NAFTA meant we were going to become Southern Canada. Hell we are the Canadians safety net when they can’t get health care in their socialist health system hell.

I was watching CNN yesterday between 2:00 and 3:00, and their news bunny comes on, and reports the CBO said that repealing Obamscare will cost a quarter of a a Trillion Dollars that’s a Trillion with a T.

No lie she said it straight into the camera with a passionate emphasis…..a quarter of a Trillion Dollars that’s a Trillion with a T….let’s see in the real world, that would be 250 Billion with a B LOL! I read somewhere it was 230 Billion….sounds like a deal to get rid of the pinkos Wealth Redistribution scam. That’s all Obamascare is Wealth Redistribution. One of Obama’s Czars said as much, it would necessarily be needed to redistribute the wealth to work. I think the Republicans stated it would cost us 10 Billion to get rid of Obamascare. They need to start de funding it, they need to start yesterday.

According to Anthony Wiener it’s going to cost us 1.2 Trillion to get rid of Obamascare. They really are worried that this POS is going onto the rubbish pile where it belongs.

So the progressive’s media arms are already out their, and reporting Bullsh1t.

Nancy Pelosi now says even if everybody was completely satisfied with their healthcare they would need to take it over anyway. Facts come out, indisputable facts, and all she does is move over a step and comes out with another story. She is now admitting in essence that all they said is not true. I saw where Blue Cross Blue Shield is raising rates 59 percent. They added that the rate increase has and I quote, “almost nothing to do with the new healthcare law.” lol. Almost nothing. And they said it was going to decrease rates.
Obama said, and I quote again, “and this health care plan will reduce your premiums up to 3,000 percent.” That’s REDUCE.
“And it will lower premiums by up to $2,500 per family per year.”
    That’s LOWER.

How many lies will have to be told before everybody just blocks it all out? I already reached that point long ago, and I think the numbers are dramatically increasing every day.

The power of the “state controlled” media has been broken.

    • Bella, it’s really difficult when you are out of work and foreclosed on to drink the kool aide.
If you can afford cable or even watch the net work news. That kool aide has gotten really expensive 😉 The Unions and Plouffe, have to ration it – the cost of duping the gullible American public has gone up 🙂

What was the figure, something like 789,000.00 people dumped their pay tv. (The progressives got bitch slapped by the voters last November) The newspapers circulations are at all time low…Newsweek got bought for a $1 and got merged with the Daily Beast. Dinosaur media sinking into the tar pits. -they are riding that progressive wave out to sea and into obscurity. No sense of self survival? It’s as if they have no ability to adapt. This is how natural selection works you would think all the Darwin following secularist would figure it out?

People like Jack Welch would never have done to GE what his replacement Immelt has wrought. I guess I am just experiencing sentimental nostalgia for what had it’s time. Time to embrace the new cyber world, and stop looking back at what could have been – what should have been. Shame on the captains of industry, they have done a poor job of transitioning into the 21st century.

Unity. Plus: CBO says repeal would save $540 billion in spending.

    That’s half a Trillion with a T LMAO!

  5. Tim Carney makes Jonathan Alter Sad.

There isn’t any corruption in the Obama administration is there? LOL!
