Another left-wing nut – He links to Media Matters in his Facebook rant
A product of class warfare?
Tuesday’‘s Bay District School Board meeting was disrupted by a man who pulled out a gun while the meeting was in progress.  The suspect has reportedly been shot, and according to the Chief of the Panama City Police Department, has died of his injuries.  According to Panama City Police Chief John Van Etten, no one in the building other than the suspect was hurt.

Identified as Clay Duke, 56.

State prison records show Duke was charged in October 1999 with aggravated stalking, shooting or throwing a missile into a building or vehicle and obstructing justice. He was convicted and sentenced in January 2000 to five years in prison but was released in January 2004. They also show that Duke was a licensed massage therapist before his arrest.

Republican, Brian Sandoval, beat Harry’s son, Rory Reid

Remember this when Harry Reid told an audience of mostly Hispanic voters: “I don’t know how anyone of Hispanic heritage could be a Republican, okay.  Do I need to say more?”

Harry really does like that race card, doesn’t he.

Today, I just happened to remember his son, Rory Reid, was running for something, but didn’t know how it came out.  It’s one of those things our fine media does not broadcast every 15 minutes for two weeks so you have to do a little searching to find it.  Seems quite newsworthy to me.

Well, lo and behold, Rory lost his attempt to be elected governor of Nevada – to Brian Sandoval, Republican, recipient of the Latino Coalition’s 2004 “Most Influential Hispanic in the U.S. Award.”

Brian Sandoval (R), Governor-elect, Nevada

Funny how that all worked out.

Another point, Governor-elect Sandoval praised the ruling yesterday against the healthcare law.

Slight of hand – Food safety bill moved into appropriations bill

sneaky, sneaky democrats.  They cannot be trusted, not even for a minute.

Sarah Foster says:

It didn’t take long for the democrats to find a way around the constitutional  roadblock that halted S-150

The FDA Food Safety Modernization Act

following its approval by the Senate last week.

When proponents found the measure couldn’t move forward in the House, they quietly attached it as an amendment to the $1.1 trillion continuing resolution (CR), H.R. 3082: “The Full-Year Continuing Appropriations Act of 2011” – a measure designed to fund the government through September, that was headed to the floor for a vote.

Folding S. 510 into H.R. 3082 added some 238 pages to the appropriations measure, which now has 423.

GOP members protested using the continuing resolution as a piggyback ride for S. 510. House Rep. Frank Lucas (R-Okla.), the incoming Agriculture Committee chairman, slammed the Democrats for resorting to legislative tricks to pass what has become a bitterly contentious measure.

“This is the sort of nonsense that Americans rejected just a few weeks ago,” Lucas exclaimed during the debate.

Nonetheless, on Wednesday evening the House approved the package (the CR with S. 510 and several other tax-spending bills attached), along a largely party-line vote of 212-206 — with not a single Republican vote cast in favor. Moreover, 35 Democrats joined their GOP colleagues in casting No votes. Eight Democrats and eight Republicans are listed as not voting. Click here for the roll-call.

The next step is to continue inundating the Senate with voter outrage.

Long story short – S150, the Food Safety Act, is now tacked on to the bill funding the government HR 3082.  So while I’m looking for S150, it doesn’t really exist any more due to the slight of hand in the United States House of Representatives.

So it is so true – when there’s a lot happening on the left-hand, be sure to watch what the right hand is doing.

Notice how “quietly” they did this.  Where was our watchdog news media to inform us what is going on?  They are doing the distracting, that’s where they are.

“…..212 for – 206 against — with not a single Republican vote cast in favor. Moreover, 35 Democrats joined their GOP colleagues in casting No votes. Eight Democrats and eight Republicans are listed as not voting.”

BUT WHY DID THESE 8 REPUBLICANS NOT VOTE? Had they voted no, and the 8 democrats had not voted, this would not have passed.
