Angle/Reid debate – Angle strong, on offense

The most revealing statement made by Harry Reid.  He complains:

“Insurance companies don’t do things out of the goodness of their hearts. They do things out of a profit motive and they have almost destroyed our economy,” Reid said. “We need them to be forced to do mammograms.”

Think about that.  No company does anything out the goodness of their heart.  If a business does not make a profit, it ceases to exist.

I have never had an insurance policy that does not include mammograms.  However, I will make a prediction – under Obamacare, they are going to be somehow limited. Maybe it will be by age and won’t be covered until age 50 say. But if a person, possibly a man, wants to buy a policy that does not cover mammograms at a lesser price, he should be able to do so.  If you want the coverage, you pay more.  Easy to understand.

It is already becoming apparent that Obamacare is hurtful to lower income people, as demonstrated by the companies recently exempted because the policies they provided at a lower and affordable price do not meet federal standards.

I completely agree with Sharron Angle — get the government out and let the market work.

You know, sometimes you wonder, “what are they thinking?”   It is no wonder they make legislation that hurts business (and individuals in the process) if you have the leader of the Senate who thinks a company should be in business “out of the goodness of their hearts.”  Jaw dropping.

Harry Reid has been in congress for 30 years.  To say he is out of touch is an understatement.

Man up, Harry Reid

Just happened to think, this is his 5th term. But this may the first time he has had opposition to speak of.

I picture it as an earthquake shaking the very foundations of Washington, D. C. knocking off balance these rulers like Reid, Barney Frank, Dingell, and others who never had a single thought 18 months ago that they would be defending their seats. As I recall, all the self-appointed experts were saying the republican party was dead and were predicting smooth sailing for the democrats from here on out.

Well, surprise, surprise, surprise. I am here thinking about the very first bailout and how angry I was, and frustrated because there didn’t seem to be anything I could do.

What I did not know at the time is that there were thousands of people out there feeling the same way, isolated and feeling helpless. And things started happening, people started getting in touch with each other, planning events – just putting out a date and a place and people showed up.

I think one day, the tea party movement will go down as one of the greatest periods of citizen renewal and involvement in our country’s history. And the mainstream media and talking heads will be revealed as shameful as to what they did to average citizens exercising their right to protest and have a voice in their government. Instead of demonizing Americans, they should have been celebrating what is a phenomenon unlike anything I have seen in my lifetime.

And specifically Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi, the two highest leaders in the country outside the president and VP,(who also got there jabs in) called us evil-mongers and the whole movement astroturf.

I am proud beyond measure to be a “teabagger.” I am proud of my country. I am proud and thankful for the freedom fought for and secured by previous generations. We may have been in a slumber, but we are awake now. Early voting starts here on Monday. I feel a landslide coming on.

Harry Reid wants forced mammograms. I’m sure Jerry Whore Brown would like them, too, huh?
