Among the prime planners of a $100 million Islamic center and mosque near Ground Zero, it’s not just Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf who is visiting the Middle East this summer at U.S. taxpayer expense. The State Department is also about to send Rauf’s wife and Cordoba Initiative fellow director, Daisy Khan, on her own taxpayer-funded “public diplomacy” trip to the United Arab Emirates. Khan is scheduled to visit the UAE from Aug. 29 to Sept. 2, overlapping there with Rauf, for whom it will be the final leg of a three-country trip including Bahrain and Qatar.
Now, meanwhile, while awaiting her departure, Daisy is in the United States demanding constitutional rights and ripping dissenters of the Obama Mosque on national tv as being hateful, islamophobic, and intolerant for exercising their constitutional rights to oppose the mosque.
Can you really believe this? The United States of America is funding this couple to tour Arab countries “to engage foreign audiences and build people-to-people ties” and to “discuss their experiences as Muslims living and working in the United States.”
He’s on video talking about America having more “blood on our hands than al Queda” and she’s showing the love by calling us bigots and islamophobes, can you imagine what they are saying about the United States in the Arab countries and on tax money?
Wow. Just wow.
The protest in New York City on Sunday was about 10 to 1 against the mosque. And so now New Yorkers are bigots and haters?
