Psychological look at Obama (Update)

Obama is flat when passion is needed; he’s aggressive when savvy is required. What’s most worrisome is that Obama doesn’t even realize that his behavior is inappropriate.

Along with a delusional disorder, Obama may fit for a mild psychotic disorder called schizotypal disorder. It may explain some of Obama’s oddness.

This is a must read from American Thinker.

Are we in trouble, or What?

For Example.

UPDATE:  Here is a statement he made in Louisiana and not previously published:

ABC News’ Sunlen Miller reports:  While visiting with Louisianan residents last week during his trip to Grand Isle, President Obama expressed a little frustration that he was not able to plug to hole still spewing oil in the Gulf by himself.

“Even though I am President of the United States my powers are not limitless,” Obama said last Friday at Camardelle’s Live Bait and Boiled Seafood, “So I can’t dive down there and plug the hole. I can’t suck it up with a straw.  All I can do is make sure that I put honest, hardworking, smart people in place.”

Is this a president or a child talking here? Good grief.  A straw?

Yes, we do have a problem.  And the press and the mainstream media are to blame.  They sugar coated this man and would not allow any investigation about him.  So now they don’t get out of it.  They have played the fool and fools they will remain.

ABC News

UPDATE:  I just read over this again more carefully, and I personally don’t see the symptoms referred to.  Maybe it’s just me, but the only one I see is inappropriate reactions.  But, in my opinion, his reactions are almost always wrong.  He then later tries to repair the damage but rarely does.  I think that’s basically because of his belief system being unAmerican. He reacts out of his own beliefs and then finds out that about 75 percent of Americans  don’t agree with him.

So we’re still in trouble.

He was still talking down to us, he doesn’t know how to relate. The Lamestream media has put out the he can’t get angry because he’s a black man what a load of @@#%. Of course his countrymen could relate to him they are angry – good grief. It’s all so freakin phony. This President has gotten some of the worse advice in American History.

No one expects him to clean anything up personally or plug a hole personally. But he is in CHARGE he could push BP out of the way, and let experts takeover. Send BP a Bill but stop letting them pretend that they are the only ones with any expertize to plug the hole and clean up the spill. British Petroleum is not the only deep water oil driller in the world.

Every time I look at that video of the “spill” it seems bigger and bigger. But it’s not just the gusher, but the lack of effort to stop the damage.

I got to wondering yesterday, if BP is leasing that spot to drill for the oil, who are they leasing it from? It took me forever to really find anything, but guess what? It’s the federal government. I found one commenter who said that the revenue the federal government gets from such leases is second only to the income tax. And they don’t have a responsibility to mitigate the damage that oil is causing? Give me a break! I glanced over the lease – it’s very long, of course – and it’s got pages and pages of reequirements to protect the wildlife down to some kind of mice. And the federal government has basically sat back for now 55 days and watched as that oil has come on shore. BP has it’s hands full trying to stop the gushing, but I think it’s Obama’s responsibllity to get all the forces he can down there to stop that oil from coming on shore. Of course, it’s a little late now but at least try.

I’m going to write a post about it when I get my thoughts together.

Read carefully, at least 20 times, to catch a clue to this Presidents disipline and cool. You are to used to being dumbed way waaaay down….

“”””””But Mr. Alter soon finds his voice, using his considerable access to the president and his aides to give us an informed look at No. 44’s management style — his methodical approach to policy making, which favors “logic chains” and “decision trees,” and which stands in nearly direct opposition to George W. Bush’s gut calls and distaste for process.

Cool, calm and collected, the president is described as a sort of cerebral Zen master: unflappable, “psychologically healthy” and something of a control freak who is reluctant to delegate (“one of his agency heads said that on a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being obsessive control, the president was an 8 or 9”).

Alter the one “pet peeve” that could make the president lose his famous cool “was a common source of anger for presidents: leaks,” which offended his “sense of discipline.”
Mr. Obama’s “winning smile,” Mr. Alter writes, “obscured a layer of self-protective ice, a useful combination in a chief executive.”

ha – decision trees? That whole paragraph is a joke, right? Alter is making himself look really delusional. Obama is the worst president in the history of America. He has now proved his incompetence and his inexperience and his protective ice is melting.

There is no way the NYT or Jonathan Alter can save him. They will look like the fools they obviously are.

  5. Mr Alter? From Newsweek? The magazine up on the auction block because of dismal subscription rates? Or New York Times – their stock was downgraded to penny stock wasn’t it?

So Obama is too cool to Rule LOLZ!

That dog won’t hunt. There is no way to spin Barack Obama’s lack of leadership. He is trying to lead from the rear, and it shows. At some point he is going to have to do more than vote Present.

James Carville screeched. “Tell BP, ‘I’m your daddy!'”

And that’s coming from an Obama supporter.

  6. Jonathan Alter of Newsweek might be out of a job if Newsmax acquires the magazine. This Chris Ruddy said he could make the magazine profitable in 18 months…I bet that wouldn’t include Alter on the magazine staff.

I am watching tony Hayward in this BP commercial — he comes across worse than Timothy Geithner.

And Obama is going BACK down Wednesday to pick at a few more tar balls I guess and then give a MAJOR address to the nation. TWO MONTHS of gushing oil and that’s it? Well, talk don’t git it and being president involves a lot more than flying around in Air Force I like a boy with a new toy. Jeezus. The. worst. president. of. all. time. And as far as advisors, he must not have any. What’s Janet doing? Where’s the Navy? At some point wouldn’t you think the president would have to do something and make a effing decision himself without having to call a meeting. It was not hard to tell this is what was going to happen when you elect a president who has a year in the Senate and his experience was in running for the office. Even his side admitted that when they couldn’t find anything else to say about him.

Well, it’s not just looking ahead now and thinking he couldn’t handle the job. He’s right in the dead middle of not handling the job. He’s had the most adoring press of all time and I hope they all come down together. Wouldn’t it just be justice if Newsweek was bought out by Newmax.

    oops, forgot to sign in.

This time I want to see Obama in FLIPPERS. Go ahead and make a comedy out of it. Can you just picture him walking along the beach flop flop flop? lol. They can splice together all the VISITS to the Gulf Coast and put it in the theatres. He can take off his top and call it Flipper Gone Wild.

I just saw some guy from Louisiana say he would like to see him at least get on a boat and go out and spend about a day with him.

  9. Anonymous

Darn. Did it again. I’m signing in right now.

I think Obama’s problem is that he is a sociopath.

Cool, calm, and collected, my rear end.
