…..Hey, Jude…..
The focus of the BP oil spill relief effort is shifting eastward – toward the beaches of Alabama and Pensacola, Fla. – as the slick’s toll on Gulf wildlife slowly mounts.

The second angel sounded his trumpet, and something like a huge mountain, all ablaze, was thrown into the sea. A third of the sea turned into blood, 9a third of the living creatures in the sea died…..
Its really a shame that BP didn’t think about this outcome. What’s even more grotesque is that Obama and his flunkies are allowing more wells to be drilled.

If I understand it right, they are drilling at those depths because of environmental constraints. So to me, it is just an example of pushing something to unreasonable degrees and thereby, ironically, causing the worst environmental disaster of all time. This would not have occurred on land.
I’m sure it could have been avoided but I see this same attitude in almost everything. The housing market – it was a known fact that it would not last. It was against all common sense and reason. But nobody wanted it to stop because of the money that was being made, not to mention the very nice houses that most anybody with breath could “buy.”
Same thing with the outrageous spending and debt of the United States. It is a known fact that it cannot last, but yet it continues anyway, at an accelerated rate. And when the whole thing comes crashing down, all we will hear is why didn’t somebody stop this, pointing fingers every which away, when we all know it is going to happen. It will all collapse under its own weight.
I’m afraid something has been unleashed out there in the Gulf that is beyond our control. Hope I’m wrong.
