54% disapprove president’s performance – 56% oppose health care

New Poll Out Today

Performance of the President – 54% DISAPPROVE.

Overall, 45% of voters say they at least somewhat approve of the President’s performance. Fifty-four percent (54%) disapprove.

On health care – 56% OPPOSE health care reform plan with 45 percent STRONGLY OPPOSING.

Voters still strongly oppose the health care reform plan proposed by President Obama and congressional Democrats and think Congress should focus instead on smaller bills that address problems individually rather than a comprehensive plan.

A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 41% of voters favor the proposed health care plan, while 56% oppose it. Those figures include 45% who strongly oppose the plan and only 23% who strongly favor it.Posted:  02.23.10

  1. Hoyer: Comprehensive health bill may be no go

They are saying the summit with the Republicans is for show to give them some political cover when the Bill doesn’t pass, they want to blame it on the Minority Party. How they manage that is going to be quite interesting to watch.

Why don’t they go slow and implement the parts of the bill that people like, and drop the parts we all hate. Instead of the social shock of trying to shove this huge expensive piece of legislation down our throats, when we are tapped out the cupboards bare. And 30 million out of work or underemployed.

well, cause I think for the most part they (our “represntatives”) want US desperate & beholding to them, building their power base, one bureaucratic job, dept., oversight agency & God only knows what else, at a time………there does not seem to be any rationale, no discipline, no responsibility & least of all any ACCOUNTIBILITY in any of this proposed legislation & the sleazy underhanded, backroom double dealing FIASCO in Washington………what I would like to know is if this sh*t passes, how much of it can be undone? & I want to say this the #1 RINO contender for 2012 presidential bid, Mitty Hominy, just endorsed McLame, for Az senate seat………can anybody say business as usual LOL LOL LOL

Yes, it’s definitely a democratic power play–this health care mess. Now do you really think they are concerned about our health? How about my mental health, you stinkin’ dems.

And right now, I’m kind of wantin’ my twenty bucks back I sent to Scott Brown! If he keeps his word regarding voting against the health care bill, I’ll forgive him I suppose. Now , is he just another pretty boy?

I know I’m probably behind the times, but I watched “The Obama Deception” on youtube this week-end — chilling!! I’m convinced more than ever that Obama is just a puppet, that he doesn’t care one whit about this country, other than to tear it down and then build it back in his ( or whomever he is representing — not US, that’s for sure) image.

We grassroots people and God himself are our only hope and I still have confidence and faith in both.

I had a computer crash a couple of week-ends ago..got somewhat behind, but hey, that carbonite comes in pretty handy!

I’m all kind of hooked on Jeff Rense right now… don’t know how long it will last… I joined his website for a while to listen to archived shows. Some of his interviews are very weird but intriguing ( UFOs, etc.), but he has people on also who give very timely commentaries on world events.

AND, there are several Larry Sinclair interviews that he has done beginning with January, 2008.
Larry just won’t go away now, will he?

Ginger, where can I find Jeff Rense. I’ve not heard of him.

I don’t know what to think – I clicked on Rachel Maddow last night and they were reporting on why dogs bark at the Law and Order theme song. No, I’m serious. Not a joke. So what are they NOT reporting on? Can they find no dirt on the repubs or can they find nothing good to report on the dems? Same thing on CNN, they were running something about somebody starting a business, if I got it right. Didn’t stay very long, but does anybody else find this a little strange?

Ron Paul: “It is in the interest of the Federal Reserve that the people not know” (what is really going on, I take is what he meant)

Fox Business is airing a committee meeting with Bernanke — They just broke away but maybe they’ll return to it. It’s very interesting. Bernanke just admitted the current course we are on is unsustainable.

Now, a new survey finds some surprising results: A large majority of doctors say there should be a public option.

When polled, “nearly three-quarters of physicians supported some form of a public option, either alone or in combination with private insurance options,” says Dr. Salomeh Keyhani

Most doctors — 63 percent — say they favor giving patients a choice that would include both public and private insurance. That’s the position of President Obama and of many congressional Democrats.

Keyhani says doctors already have experience with government-run health care, with Medicare. And she says the survey shows that, overall, they like it.
