Sounds like a joke, doesn’t it, but he was serious – which is the joke, I guess.
This is the depths to which David Shuster (MSNBC) is willing to go in order to justify anything this administration does or says. He’s talking here about the indoctrination implied in asking school children to write essays on what they want to do to help Obama and to memorize quotes from Obama. They should be thinking about what they could do for their country – not Obama. But never the less…..
Here is an exchange between Shuster and Michael Leahy:
SHUSTER: Mike, I’m going to give you one more chance. I’m going to try one more time with a yes-or-no. Was it a subversive threat when George W. Bush read “My Pet Goat” on 9/11, which essentially might have encouraged kids to go out and get a pet goat even though in Florida, where he was giving the speech, it’s against the law to have a goat unless you’re on a farm, so was the president trying to encourage kids to subvert the law when he did that?
LEAHY: David, you are so in the tank for Barack Obama, you should be on the White House communication staff, not at MSNBC.
Yep. I have a feeling he’s already on the payroll, but if he went to the WH then he wouldn’t be able to broadcast his drivel for an hour every day.
See Newsbusters for audio and video of this example of what MSNBC passes off as “news” every day.
But more on the children:
