Sinking: Presidential approval index at minus 12, disapproval on Gatesgate

Forty percent (40%) Strongly Disapprove giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -12. That’s the lowest rating yet recorded for President Obama.

Overall, 48% of voters say they at least somewhat approve of the President’s performance. That is the lowest level of total approval yet recorded for this President. Fifty-one percent (51%) now disapprove.

The poll by the nonpartisan Pew Research Center found that 41 percent disapproved of Obama’s handling of the Gates arrest, compared with 29 percent who approved. The poll also found the incident and Obama’s reaction saturated the public consciousness. As many as 80 percent of Americans said they are now aware of Obama’s comments on the matter.  (Poll conducted Wednesday to Sunday last week.)

      Haha. I notice that “all the polls are garbage” that show Obama in free fall. lol. Did you check out the Yahoo health care poll? I went there a while ago to cast another vote LOL and it is now neck and neck, 50/for 50/against.

    Poor Professor Gates is on his way back to Martha’s Vinyard. Bless his lil discriminated against heart.

    Can you keep from acting stupidly? Not me.

    Actually, I didn’t think Crowley should have participated in the little dog and pony show, but I was wrong. He rose above it, came out and answered questions like a man, and said they agreed to disagree. A stand up guy.

    Q. What did you learn from this experience?

    Crowley: That the press can find you anywhere.
