Obama SLAMS tea baggers – uh Americans like me

I take it personal.  He did say:  “Those of you…..”

Asked about fiscal discipline and entitlements reform, Obama seemed to be repressing a smile as he jabbed critics of his spending plans.

“Those of you who are watching certain news channels on which I’m not very popular, and you see folks waving tea bags around, Obama said, “let me just remind them that I am happy to have a serious conversation about how we are going to cut our health care costs down over the long term, how we are going to stabilize Social Security.”

I didn’t get to wave any tea bags, but I was there in spirit and surely would have, if possible, but he is talking about me, my friends, my loved ones here.  As the old saying goes, “He’s done stopped preaching and gone to meddling.”  All I know is I hope we wave a whole bunch more tea bags.

I have not said it yet, but he just became “not my president.”  I wonder if this is what he wants.  Surely he knows he is supposed to be president of all the people, whether they voted for him or not.

Fox News absolutely rules in cable news ratings – Holds 11 top spots for April

Fox News takes all of the Top 11 cable news shows in April.  That’s pretty darn good any way you look at it.  But what is kind of funny – CNN and MSNBC are putting out faux news releases that somehow twist things around to look good for them [as saying Rachel Maddow is gaining on Anderson Cooper.  Yeah, right, they just don’t tell you it’s for spot 15 and 16]. And it’s Fox that is “fondly” called Faux News. 🙂

Fox News has not issued a statement about the ratings.

The story goes that they didn’t want to distract from the battle raging between CNN and MSNBC for spot 12.  🙂

Arlen Specter’s parting words for the republicans (Funny)

Well, as far as I’m concerned, Arlen Specter belongs in the democrat party and I’m glad he finally recognized it. He was a RINO anyway. I wasn’t even going to write about it, but this is just too funny to pass up.

Andy Borowitz on Huffington Post is reporting that Specter had some choice words for his former republican colleagues today.

As in:

“Now I can say it: what a bunch of f*cking a..holes!”

And:

“This is something I’ve wanted to say for years: is there a bigger d.ck on this planet than Mitch McConnell?” he said. “I know he thinks he’s doing his job, but please, what a f*cking t.rd.”

And as to Minority whip Eric Cantor:

“Eric f*cking Cantor? Please. That douche can kiss my g.dd.mn stimulus package.”

Well!  🙂

This is a joke, right?  I don’t know.
