Illinois democrat says we are “despicable” and “shameful.”  Seeing as how we are “right-wing activists and fueled by Fox.”  Oh, my, we are So Bad.  🙂  And to top that off we have “cheapened an honorable moment” in history.  🙂

What makes me think that if the Founding Fathers were alive today, they would all have been leading the way.

“”Rep. Jan Schakowsky (D-Ill.) blasted “tea party” protests yesterday, labeling the activities “despicable” and “shameful.”

“The ‘tea parties’ being held today by groups of right-wing activists, and fueled by FOX News Channel, are an effort to mislead the public about the Obama economic plan that cuts taxes for 95 percent of Americans and creates 3.5 million jobs,” Schakowsky said in a statement.

“It’s despicable that right-wing Republicans would attempt to cheapen a significant, honorable moment of American history with a shameful political stunt,” she added.””

She goes on to say that that they are “made to look like grassroots uprisings” but are in fact, she says, sponsored by “corporate interests, Republicans, lobbyists, and politicians.”

Huh?  This is a good example of the Lies that are being told.  Flat out lies.

I also linked to this post.

My Impression of the Mainstream Media’s Coverage of Tax Day, Tea Partys held across the country this past week. Predictable, Preconditioned, Conforming & Devoid of Objectivity. They reminded me of Zombies.

sponsored by “corporate interests, Republicans, lobbyists, and politicians.”——That seems to be the pot calling the kettle black…oops, was that a racial slur? I didn’t mean it to be.

Obot talking points right on cue, the astroturfing by the biased Liberal MSM isn’t working but then you know that already. Otherwise why would you bother to comment? Whose mind do you think you will change? People who attended the tea partys already know about Obama Bots. You all are really lagging the partys started in February…and they haven’t finished.

  6. Bellalu! Fox is the best news going and even it softened after the first year. OTOH, it is fair and it is balanced as 3rd party observers measure and show.

In terms of the American Left: They must wring their hands about it because it doesn’ provide the perview of the American left as does CBS for example(what would you expect after Walter and Dan? or CNN, or MSNBC, or most of the print media in the country.

The absolutely real problem is our media oriented, glued-to-it, post boomer(genx, gennext or whatever they are). The are bright, intelligent but very foolish and will fall for anything. But further, that was characteristic of the late boomers as well–I regard it as an illness. What is the type of raunchy, humor that we see today? SNL started it, it goes from there.

What about General programming? What is really good comedy? There has not been much for years and years. I would rather watch old reruns of Carol Burnett or any one of them out of Vaudeville than the garbage we see now. I could rant on, but this side-note is what I see that is wrong with an educated, discriminating audience. There isn’t one. How can they judge that the material that is being discussed is validly measured and presented in even terms? They can’t because though they question “authority” they don’t question the 4th estate. — which gets us to France and it gets us to 1789, followed by another despot… we inherited it by default our own damned selves… dai
