An estimated 1,200 people celebrated the short life of Caylee Marie Anthony at a memorial service this morning at the First Baptist Church of Orlando.
The emotional service for the deceased 2-year-old lasted nearly two hours, the last 45 minutes of which were heart-felt eulogies from the little girl’s family.

This Baptist Church service was covered by CNN/Headline News this morning and will be re-run at 4:30 p.m.
Another service was held at the site where the body was found where people gathered in an impromptu service this morning, led by a California bounty hunter, Leonard Pedilla, who inserted himself in the case of the missing girl and her 22-year-old mother Casey Anthony, who is now in jail and charged with the child’s murder.
Leonard Pedilla was one of the people the Anthony Family barred from the First Baptist Church Memorial Service.
U.S. Sen. Arlen Specter supports an $827 billion compromise over President Barack Obama’s economic stimulus package because something needs to be done to stop the nation’s economic slide.
“I am supporting the stimulus plan because I think if we are to avoid having the current recession turn into a full scale depression like 1929, there is going to have to be some prompt government action,” said Specter, R-Pa.
Sen. Susan Collins (R-ME), Sen. Arlen Specter (R-PA) and Sen. Olympia Snowe (R-ME) are the Republicans going along with this bill.
Just beccause “something needs to be done” does not mean this particular bill is the one and only answer to the problem and that this particular bill has to be passed within a few days.
It hasn’t been but a couple of months they said the same thing about the TARP – and this will be just as big a disaster.
The vote will be soon. Remember these names, our little Republican sheep:
Susan Collins – Olympia Snowe – Arlen Specter
