Ho, Ho, Ho, Jesse Jr.’s Gotta Go (Update)

Couldn’t resist this one because of the ho, ho, ho part.  Just takes me back to the point in time of April, 2007, when Jesse, Sr. publicly called for a firing,    I can’t muster up much sympathy for Jesse, Jr.   What goes around comes around or the devil will get his due, as they say.  http://scaredmonkeys.com/2007/04/13/don-imus-and-cbs-radio-going-going-gone-imus-fired/

At least some of his constituents want embattled Congressman Jesse Jackson Jr. to resign.

About a dozen protesters stood outside his Chicago office today shouting, “Ho ho ho, Jesse Jr.’s gotta go.”

Protest organizer Harold Davis says he believes allegations that an emissary may have offered to raise money for Gov. Rod Blagojevich in exchange for Jackson being appointed to President-elect Barack Obama’s Senate seat.

Davis says Jackson has tainted the democratic process and his political career is over.

Others in the south side neighborhood disagree. Several passersby shouted support for Jackson and one yelled, “Leave Jesse alone.”

Jackson denies any wrongdoing.

UPDATE:  There seems to be, shall we say, a tad of “history” between Harold Davis and Jesse, Sr, as shown in this video, but nevertheless…..

Emanuel Did Talk With Governor’s Office About Senate Seat

“I’m confident that no representatives of mine would have any part of any deals related to this seat”…..”What I’m absolutely certain about is that our office had no involvement around any deal-making, that I’m absolutely certain of. “

I guess the key word is “deals” but we shall see.  The Chicago Tribune is reporting there was, indeed, discussion between Rahm Emanuel and the Rod Blagojevich administration regarding a replacement for Obama’s Senate seat.

Rahm Emanuel, President-elect Barack Obama’s pick to be White House chief of staff, had conversations with Gov. Rod Blagojevich‘s administration about who would replace Obama in the U.S. Senate, the Tribune has learned.

One source confirmed that communications between Emanuel and the Blagojevich administration were captured on court-approved wiretaps.

Wiretaps.

It would be hard to imagine a closer representative of the President-elect than Rahm Emanuel, unless it would be Michelle.  He was the very first appointment.  In fact, Obama made this statement upon his appointment, this from Huffington Post

“I am pleased to announce that my good friend, Congressman Rahm Emanuel, has agreed to serve as my White House chief of staff. I announce this appointment first because the Chief of Staff is central to the ability of a President and Administration to accomplish an agenda. And no one I know is better at getting things done than Rahm Emanuel.”

Good friend.  Good at getting things done.  Countdown.  Under the Bus.  Rahm is fast becoming “not the Rahm Emanuel I knew,”  don’tcha think?

Typical Obama statements:
“I’m saddened by today’s verdict. This isn’t the Tony Rezko I knew, but now he has been convicted by a jury on multiple charges that once again shine a spotlight on the need for reform. I encourage the General Assembly to take whatever steps are necessary to prevent these kinds of abuses in the future.” – Senator Barack Obama

Obama emphasizes “the man (Jeremiah Wright) I saw yesterday was not the man I knew for 20 years.”

Has there ever been a more clueless person in the history of the world?

Bullfight on the Nairobi “Obama Tour” Cancelled

A major bullfight event set to take place in Nairobi today was cancelled by the Kenyan High Court after animal welfare activists complained the event was inhumane and promoted cruelty to animals.

The bull fighting events are being promoted as part of celebrations of United States President-elect Barack obama’s victory.

Is Blago Crazy? Maybe Crazy Like a Fox

Campbell Brown on CNN’s “cutting through the bull” is real deep in the bull herself. I have heard so many references on CNN and MSNBC about Blagojevich’s mental condition since this thing broke – from “lost his marbles” to Campbell here saying he is “truly unhinged.”  (See video below)

But, of course, he is a democrat, which is not mentioned very often, if at all, and a democrat couldn’t possibly do anything illegal or vile so he must be crazy. Yeah, he must be crazy. It’s only the nasty ole’ repubs who can do anything wrong and who get cut off at the knees by the media.

But, anyway, I understand that the petition that Illinois Attorney General, Lisa Madigan, has filed before the Illinois Supreme Court to have Blagojevich relieved of his powers is using a law that applies to the “incapacitated” and to someone unable to serve for health reasons.

So it begins to clear up as to the reason why, from the very beginning , the corrupt media has been pushing the “he’s nuts” explanation on the public.  He’s no more nuts than any other criminal, they all have some kind of personality disorder,  and he looks plenty healthy to me.  I do hope the Illinois Supreme Court is not phased by that, but these days you can’t be sure of anything.

Follow the case here:  http://www.state.il.us/court/SupremeCourt/SpecialMatters/default.asp

Is Blago going to resign?  Everybody and I mean everybody wants him to.  Which makes me hope he does not.

I just heard that the bull fight in Kenya in honor of Barack Obama has been cancelled!!  What a shame.
